Fuck the game because you didn't get admin rights, ey?
-- (Aidenn): fuck ambush in my opinion. and also I have no num pad --
did i ever say that I wanted to be admin? no, so dont make up stuff mayoa. and arctic, you think I always want admin pozition everyware i go, but that's not true. if an admin pozition was offered to me on ambush I wouldnt take it. I am not power hungry, I help out on games where I can but I dont have to be admin to like a game
the thing is though I never even said iwant to be admin on everything. I do help games that I like, where I cn, but its not like I want power on all the games I play. that's not me
Even though Ambush might have stolen sounds it is unlike anything we've seen before in terms of the concept and I really do like it, however I just don't have a good enough mouse to play it at this point, so hopefully they improve upon the controler support ASAP. Also, this dev seems new.
Stolen sounds and using the same sounds as an audio game coincidentally because the libraries used are or were identical are two different sort of things, and this game seems to do the former. Principally I sort of do see where you're coming from and agree with it to some extent.
Most of the sounds in this community come from libs anyways, so just because a sound may be recogniseable from STW, that doesn't mean Sam specifically made it, for example.
All that I survey, I could easily destroy. From time to time, it is important to remind these small creatures of the true extent of my power.
I tried to give the game a chance, just like I said I would. But playing in Argentina, there's way too much lag for a game like this, even though the premise is really good.
As a blind windows user it makes literally no sense to have a mouse as it for the most parts has no advantages whatsoever. NVDA barely speaks mouse navigation, jaws (used to) don't have mouse support at all, it's just one more usb port taken or in case of mousepads, an accidental tab you do from time to time and make your cursor do crazy things while typing. You are just working with a target group that barely has or uses mouse so i will never get why some devs chose to rely on the mouse for their audio game. -- (Adasadula): I don't understand this trend among blind people, i.e. not having a mouse, hating games that use it, etc. ;). --
Most of us have laptops though, and literally every laptop comes with a touch pad. It's frankly a privileged take to say that a touch pad isn't available to most of us, since the only people who don't have access to such things are the people who have 2 thousand dollar high performance PC's. But even then, I find it hard to believe nobody in your house owns a mouse that you could borrow. I don't use a mouse. Never did, and there are like 5 or six different mice in this house. I got one when I bought this keyboard, as an example.

Most blind people i know have the mousepad on their laptops disabled though, for exactly this reason that i outlined, accidental cursor jumping and especially on cheaper laptops the hand palm recognition isn't there yet so i actually recomend people to disable it. Plus 2k dollars minimum is a wild take, for example my hp workstation did cost a fraction of that and also lacks a mouse. Yes, of course, if you don't live allone you should be able to bother a mouse from someone sighted. How ever, the smarter move would be to build your game so people don't need to bother stuff from other people to be able to play it. And the usual keyboards are not this limited that you neccessarely need it.
I have a mouse for a simple reason, video games. It doesn't take up a USB port because I have a small passive HUB connected to the USB 2.0 port on the back of my computer. All receivers are connected to this hub, from the mouse, keyboard, headphones, etc. I also have my used laptop bought for $30 on which I sometimes play video games, I use a touchpad there / I also connect any mouse. And, if you're don't want use mouse with 2.4 receiver, you can have a bluetooth mouse ;). The touchpad on a laptop / mouse is a nice thing, you can assign gestures to e.g. switch between apps, change the volume, etc. It is also useful when you need to drag something, e.g. in an inaccessible interface.

I get why you'd think you don't need a mouse. But tbh, having a cheap wireless mouse just existing somewhere in case you need visual help or sth like that is never bad. Also sometimes it's easyer to fix focus issues or such stuff. And I kinda like whe're starting to use it, we have to advance a bit, right?
For some reason the touch pad on my computer was disabled or maybe even disconnected internally, and this was done by the seller, not by me. I never disable stuff. I've tried removing and letting Windows reinstall it and that didn't work either. That's why I think it's been disconnected internally.
