how do I successfully use ibmtts with NVDA

Actually, I'm not sure if the auto updater will work any more as they're down till they can get enough donations to get a business subscription. I read the whole down for maintenance thing and just learned that.

If the auto updater won't work, then I suppose we who use that add-on will have to hope and pray for generous donors.

forget it, meh, have tryed nvda portable again and it worked this time, thanks for the help!

Now I need help. I've installed ViaVoice 5 on my Laptop and got the IBMTTS-Driver from the Spanish Addon-Store. I selected the IBMECI.ll file. Now, when I select IBMTTS NVDA crashes.

Just use Mad Gamer's version.

You could also use the official IBMTTS driver, from david's repo, alongside https://x0box.xyz/uploads/eciLibraries.nvda-addon

I really don't like, nor use, Eloquence, but a lot of you guys do so I shouldn't complain. I was born at a time where more natural TTS was a thing but was getting better as the years go by. But the rest is for another day. While I was introduced to Microsoft Sam and some other voices at a very late time I guess, the rest of that story is for another topic and another day.

Natural TTS voices are nice to have, if you can aford to pay for them. But again, that's another topic.
