Okay. I'm going to guess, and don't quote me because I don't know ow technology works, but I'm going to guess the server has a version number that it says is the latest and if yours doesn't match it, it wants you to update. If there is no new file to download, it can't update.

Thats obvioursly right. As I said, could just be that the file wich is the normal download, in this cais a zip is different than the file the auto updater downloads, but thats then not the cais... thanks for clarifing

The updater is not yet able to handle unzipping of the archive, so it will have to be done manually the once. The password is SBYW.

No, I don't think so, just if there is going to be a new update you will need to download it manualy because the updater can't extract the passworded zip yet.
