Hey everyone! So, I just thought I'd open a thread about this kind of amazing thing here. I use this voice because it currently is my favorite. What do you think about Eleven Labs, and what is your opinion? Personally, I find it really impressive how this thing can pronounce all sorts of text in different emotions and moods. I love Eleven Labs, but I think I'm actually gonna purchase the starter package, um, because then I can make voices, and if I get something cool, then I am gonna post here, because why not, and the thing is, this is really cool, like, I like this, because it's, like, like, like, the, the, how do you say it, uh, the inflection is really cool, so, yep, mm-hmm, very good.
I totally agree. Yeah, problem is I can't pay for it. I would definitely buy that as well. I would buy some games. I would buy this. But I don't have a PayPal, first of all. Second, I don't think if I would tell my parents, they would do anything about it. And third, I can only pay with iTunes and that stuff. And that's not really helpful. Because I got gift cards there. But you can sadly not transfer it to something that works. Kind of sucks. Yeah, I would buy two if I could.
that's interesting you have 10 characters 10k characters and one for each voice okay that's kind of cool so it's not just for one uh not for all of them it's just for one that's that's nice but it's still sad because like ellie is my favorite voice because it sounds cool i think better as the others or better better than the others but yeah i can in theory just create a second account because now i have some testing done so i use it differently not so much probably because i started using it yesterday so i'm kind of frustrated or i wonder if i could just delete this account and just create this account again but i don't know again i would pay but i can't so
Hey, it's Grace. I know I don't post on the voice forum much. I like Eleven Labs a lot. The voice quality is amazing and I love the clone feature. In fact, could you tell this is actually a clone of my voice?
Yeah, same, I could, because it sounds really good, but it still sounds like TDS in a way, so, because I think it would have a different inflection, so if I would clone my voice, it would sound different, much more different, but it would be so amazing to clone. Clone friends' voices, and just have them read, have them read any text for me, that would be really amazing, that would be so sick, just imagining it, to ask sighted friends to let them, like, let their voice be cloned, or, record it, yeah, but I, I could tell it, it was not, like, that obvious, but it was still obvious that it was text-to-speech.
Well, Anton, regarding your statement about credit cards on the Eleven Labs platform, they, like, I thought you have a card, because, like, you know, I don't know if they do offer PayPal. I thought that they do, at least, but if they don't, then, yeah, I probably won't buy it either, because I very much prefer PayPal for these kinds of things.
The only shitty thing about Eleven Labs is that you have to fucking pay for the damn thing. That's the only thing I hate.
yeah so true and also i would pay if i could you know you have to consider one thing i don't think it's that cheap to produce this cool shit like how are you expecting to like you put so much work into it and then you kind of expect people to run it freely i mean you can have 10k charge per month like i find it stupid as well because i can't pay but i still think it's good anyway because you get some free stuff per month it's not like you have to pay to just use it or to try it yeah and dude you should always keep in mind the work behind this same if you're like it's the same if you're jobbing one day i mean you have a long way to go you're just a kid but in like let's say 10 years or something you get a job you uh produce something or whatever then you sell it and you people expect it to be free like i'm not sure if you would do that and this and this counts for many things like you should always keep that in mind and it's not like you can just create those voices in a few seconds and uh the tech behind it is super simple dude it's not like that it's really not like this
