It doesn't work now. When I choose it, it speaks like English-us. It sometimes worked though in the past. There is some inconsistancy with it that I don't know of.
Ok, but it'd be good if it could as well speak the Russian language. Thus it'd be both English with Russian accent and would be able to speak Russian, hence creating more reasons to use that voice.
I found out how e-speak english russian accent doens't work. It doesn't work and speaks in english-us if automatic language and dialect switching is turned on, but it works when automatic dialect switching is turned off.
To be honest I read russian the following way: I use the hungarian espeak, for which I wrote a dictionary. Letters represent the hungarian equivalents, for example the cirillic letter с for us is like sz. Of course it doesn't sound absolutely russian but at least I write correctly. And my pronunciation becomes better by practicing with natives.
Όταν θα κοιτάς την θάλασσα Χωρίς να το θέλεις, θα βλέπεις εμένα Και τα μάτια σου θα ‘ναι θλιμμένα Όταν θα ξυπνάς στον ύπνο σου Χωρίς να το θέλεις, θα σκέφτεσαι εμένα Και θα νιώθεις μεγάλο κενό
I sue e-speak russian to read Russian language, but it'd be good if either I could make espeak tr read the cyrillic letters in Russian or have e=speak ru read the latin letters as Turkish, not as English. Itd make my life a whole lot of easier when reding Turkish and Russian together.
Write a dictionary for the turkish espeak. Write all the russian letters and their turkish equivalents.

Hmm. now more general/a little about norwegian, I wish espeak would have decent norwegian. It's terible. I wonder if anyone will ever fix some languages up? I heard it's not just norwegian being messy, I heard that some other languages sound extremely bad when espeak talks them.
