I never heard anyone talking about this at all? So I strongly doubt that this is the actual company or people group behind Klango, besides Klango was polish, not german.

Also, what on earth means may not work for some users.

Better than Elten? You won't find me defending Elten too often, but from what I used Klango so far, it's interface is clunky, annoying and unintuitive.

I guess they'll have to take all of you to court so you'll finally stop stealing all the source code and making your own clones.

I wouldn't say better then elten but just different. I like it's interface mostly. Plus, klango has the media catalogue which elten dropped and wewre everyone can participate, in it's current version the hey klango voice assistant and so on.

I didn't make the program, someone else did, and I don't know how they did it either. But suing over a clone? I'm surprised that we're not getting sued because of audiogame clones but that's a different topic altogether

Why, just why, am I not surprised?

It could be quite fun if they turned it into a decent web forum. However, I uninstalled the Klango client after trying it out for just five minutes. Even on modern hardware, it felt even worse than it did 20 years ago: a roaring CPU fan upon every request and endless waiting times when opening dialogue boxes. However, it seems that version 4 is already in development; hopefully that one will run more smoothly.

It crashes NVDA right at startup and if you want to open settings and get rid of this stupid eSpeak which sounds fancy just because it can position its sound, the program crashes again LOL

I don't know why people think they have to shove Mastodon into everything. When is Eltodon coming?

I installed it and it didn't work so nice, there was a problem with connection, never mind, nothing special.
I'm curious if a polish company starts to do something withis clone.

It should be a legal gray area as, as far as I can tell, the server is completely new and the client was reverse enginered.
