YouTube, nearly unusable

Most files I try to listen to on YouTube cause Elten to crash. It crashes in such a way that I can't copy and paste the error.

I do agree with you. I sometimes have to restart elten and sometimes I go to play the video I was trying to play before, but still the same thing happens. eventually it does work but there needs to be a little repair in order here I think.

The newest version of youtube is 0.9, maybe you have to update it.

Yep, already updated, and it's much worse now.

In fact, I was having no issues with YouTube till this update. I wish I could roll back to the previous version.

How do I update it? When I go to programmes instalation, I get remove and reinstal. I’ve got 0.82 and yes, can’t search or listen to anything, and get a very long error message.

Reinstall, which also means updating it. If you already have 0.9 you don't need to update it. 0.9 broke things for me.

You will know when you can reinstall because you will here the sound that you hear when you get a new item on a list.

0.91 is worth the update. I'm glad the update was quick!

Now, a lot of videos are making it crash again in much the same way as before. Sometimes when I force RGS Player to close because it's frozen, I also have to wait for Windows to report the problem to Microsoft.

Yep, also experiencing problems with Youtube. It's time for an update and downloading takes a long long time!

I've noticed this on a few videos I've tried to play, but not all of them. It's possible that whoever uploaded the video to youtube doesn't allow it to be played threw an external player. Just my two scents.

Downloading does take forever now, ugh!

I used it a moment ago. So, it’s working fine here, so far.

Oh, it works sometimes but a very lot of times it doesn't, or is sluggish at downloading and such. Yesterday I couldn't get a file downloaded at all.

You can download but it takes a long long time. When it fails, just try again.
