Now I'm wondering if it's just for certain formats that it clips. I just downloaded one of the songs I lost using MP3, and it did it correctly. The first time I tried it with both songs was in wave, and they clipped badly.
Studio Recorder, and if I did edit the MP3, it would first be decoded into wave, then back to MP3, losing quality. I tried using MP3 Direct Cut but I can't do anything with it.
Normalizing, you mean the recording's too quiet? Just use the "amplify" effect in audacity. It will always default to amplify the audio to 0.0 db. In that dialog, just look at the slider. If the percentage's higher than 50, that's good, and just apply that. But we're getting off topic here. Perhaps we can discuss using private messages.
I have a sugesstion, actually another user gave me the idea. for the users that forget their password and want to use the web site, could there be a I forgot password link? I forget if there is already one on the web site.
Another bug concerning Youtube: When I search for something on Youtube, and I want to play the clip which I have found, instead of starting to play the clip, I am sent back to the Search Results list. Probably Youtube needs another update.
This is what I was referring to earlier when I reported this bug. It needs some kind of error trapping routine or whatever to let the user know what happened and maybe give an option to report the error, if that's what's causing this odd behavior.
