Errors have been corrected, except the add on for NVDA, which will be the target for beta 48.

In particular:
* Setting up group conversations should now work;
* There should no sporadic errors when checking time;
* When deleting a larger portion of text, if the curser is not moved, the next press delete key removed as many characters as previously selected, corrected;
* You can only run one instance of Elten;
* Elten can a synchronously issue multiple queries to the server HTTP2 functionality the implementation of which has not been included so far;
* Elten server has now its own RSA key, which is verified and in the event of an error Elten warns the user;
* The duration of the HTTP2 keep-alive session has been extended to 5000 queries [about an hour with typical use] previously it was 1000 queries;
* From now on, notifications are saved in the priority queue, not in the table;
* The time after which Elten considers the server not responding has been extended to 20 seconds; previously 15 seconds;
* Opus has been updated to version 1.3.1, previously 1.3;
* OpenSSL has been updated to version 1.1.1, previously 1.0.2;
* HTTP support for versions 1.0 and 1.1 has been removed;
* Elten no longer makes connections to any server unless it supports HTTPS, the exception is streaming media.

I'm now running beta 47 and with the add-on. I will now exit and see if I'm prompted to install the add-on again. So far, though, no problems with my screen reader voice.

Nice to hear this!

Okay, exited and restarted Elten, and I'm happy to say there were no problems, no prompt to install the add-on. Nice improvements!

Hmm, all those changes sound like they don't affect an average user like me. Only thing is that I translated the server key warning. I had no problems with 46 and also not with 47 now. This Bug with 039 in the blog's still there though.

#8 Edited

It's a function you don't use I guess. This bug also doesn't really bother me, but I want to remind, because I would like this to be fixed by the 2.4 stable release.

#9

That's actually the purpose, that you keep on reporting bugs.

#10

Well, for me,46 was a deal breaker. I can actually use 47, so something was really improved, just sayin'.

Hmmm...

Beta 47 working well here.

Still not sure what the group conversation thing is for, but it seems to be working at least...

Yes, the client works well. I just mean the apostrophe bug = #&039; or something. Do you have that as well? I still got it.

#14 Edited

I mean in the blog names. They do work here, and always have.

#16

My blog, for example. It always changes to that string, and when I change it, it always goes back.

#17

I think groups conversation is something like sending a message to all members of a group, something like we use to have on Klango; although not really sure. I have to check it out further.

#18 Edited

I do notice a sluggishness in edit boxes sometimes with the add-on. For example, in the visiting card of a user. Similar to beta 45, but not as bad.

#19

I experienced the same. When I go to a visiting card, there is no reading of the visiting card automatically; you have to use the arrow keys.

#20

That's not what I mean. I mean when you move through the text, it's very unresponsive.
