Merhaba, ben İstanbul'dan geliyorum ve İstanbul güzel bir şehir, okullarımı beğendim, şoförlerimi beğendim, restoranlarımı beğendim ve daha çok şey.
and Istanbul's history nice and I like Istanbul's history areas
hi everyone about Istanbul I like the history of Istanbul and it was Constantinople before I'd like to say that I don't like that in this city most people are the Muslims I don't mind about Muslims because I really respect respectful Muslims but about history it was Christian city but right now is it's Turkey and for this reason in this city most people Muslims so yeah but I like history of this city when it was Constantinople yeah
Nice for you because I like all ways of Istanbul and thank you for liking the history of Istanbul. It is nice for me.
hi oh my voice really fucked itself there hi um i have a bit of a cold slash uh sore throat right now so apologies about that uh yeah i'm from as most of you can probably tell by my accent uh the uk united kingdom i'm from england have been all my life um live in turkey for a while when i was younger i lived in belak for about a year or two uh went to istanbul for a few weeks in 2014 too um so i have a fair bit of experience with turkey um my family my family have a kind of running uh tradition going where we go there like once or twice a year or at least we've been trying to um my dad's like in hospital right now so it's been a bit more difficult uh to do that but yeah i i do i do like turkey as well uh it's nice but uh yeah here in the uk culture is kind of weird like a very strange culture um i don't even really want to go into it because it's like i don't understand a lot of it myself um obviously a lot of you might know about the whole brexit brexit thing that's going on um right now which um is making us look quite stupid as a country but but yeah um i kind of want to eventually move to the us whether or not that will ever happen is like another thing entirely because unless i get like a very decent job the chances of me being able to get a visa and then be able to keep a visa is like a lot of it's just like for i think it's like six months you have to get a job or whatever uh yeah being able to do that fairly slim and i yeah i don't know um but yeah there's um me um obviously let me know if you want to know about anything specific about the uk uh one thing obviously it's very cold compared to like most other places a lot specifically cold the weather tends to be kind of on the lower end of the spectrum the thing here is that it's like so random and so unpredictable like there are some countries where it's just always cold and it's like yeah you can kind of get used to it but here it can go from being like 30 odd degrees to being like minus five degrees in the space of like a few hours or a day it's ridiculous but yeah that's just one thing you learn to kind of expect and there are quite a few sort of jokes about the weather we have uh here in the uk um but yeah um other than that i can't really think of anything else right now but yeah let me know if you have any questions and i'll see um if i can answer them bye
Ailemin Türk insanlarını anlayamayacağını söylüyor.
Um, I do speak some Turkish, oh excuse me, my throat has stuff in it, uh, do speak a bit of Turkish, not that much, I used to be able to speak relatively fluently, at least enough to have like a basic conversation, haven't done it in a while, so I've kind of been slipping lately, uh, but yeah.
all right hi everyone let me say merhaba to everyone I'm also from Turkey and any questions you have you can just feel more than free to ask them to me and I hope your father recoveries soon if I know I don't know hope he has regained his health already but if he has not I well I hope he has not I well I hope he has regained his health already but if he has not I well I hope he recovers soon so yeah the UK and the weather thing is yeah you like in the United Kingdom people talk about the weather and so frequently as far as I know everyone asks each other latest weather forecast and how it will likely be soon like a few hours later or tomorrow etc I guess yeah I encountered some statistical data about this but unfortunately forgot it
about turkey i'm interested in the reflection of byzantium in modern turkey does it exist something of this topic
Sorry, but could you please clarify your question and could you talk more slowly and more clearly and articulate the phonemes more sensibly? Like, I'm sorry, but your accent prevents me from comprehending what you said.
there was the country the past of turkey byzantium so i am interested in the reflection of byzantium in modern turkey
Okay, I assume you mean the past of Anatolia. Because the past of Turkey and the past of Turks goes back to Middle Asia, and there are still many Turks who have their own countries there, several of them, like some are totally independent and some are autonomous, within the borders of the Federation of Russia or China. And as for what you claim to be curious about, well, there are definitely many, like, remnants of Turkish structures, and there used to be a Greek population prior to the treaty signed between Turkey and Greece in 1930, but then many Turks and Greeks were exchanged between Turkey and Greece. Okay. And the Turks in Greece and the Greeks in Istanbul were an exception to this, but yeah, you can still find many things in Turkey that we preserve as a heritage, one of which is the fact that we have a lot of heritage. Okay. And that, of course, is part of the reason why the Turks and Greeks are still alive and well and they are still a part of the history. In terms of the history, what's known in English as Hagia Sophia. As you probably know, it was built as a church, and then after the conquest of Istanbul in 1453, it was rebuilt as a mosque. And it was converted. Okay. It was converted to a mosque and then people were able to pray there until 1930-something...1934, maybe, I don't know. But then it became a museum and then it's become a mosque recently once again.

hello everybody it's me Samir from Macedonia hopefully you guys know where is Macedonia it is Eastern Europe I guess between Albania Serbia Bulgaria Kosovo and Greece well maybe some of you guys don't know about Macedonia so it was too large country so it was like a large country in the time of Alexander the Great so he made it large until India and also we have we had a part in Egypt which is there is a city called Alexandria well after the second war you know like everyone wanted to take part of Macedonia so they did so to I'm in Greece and you know like everyone wanted to take part of Macedonia so they did so to I'm in Greece and took apart Bulgaria took apart Albania and Chris and wait yeah those countries like took part of Macedonia and they made it like small country just to leave us alone after that I don't know how but I know I'm I really don't like politics to be honest I don't know how but I know I'm I really don't like politics to be honest but they said there is a problem in Greece which called Macedonia so we were kind of forced to change our name to North Macedonia I don't know why I mean we are not in North by the way but yeah see you like so stupid but me and like people like me who are having same thoughts and were sharing same thoughts like I think if you change your country name your country country's name you change everything like history you change like you know it's a new country you change history you change like you know it's a new country by the way right so we we have been taught that you know Macedonia is like like it is I mean like what it is like Macedonia is not North Macedonia right now the current children they're gonna learn about North Macedonia which is sad because yeah our whole history gone in the blink of an eye in the water and I don't I mean otherwise that's it like I don't know what else I can talk about my country
Hi guys, I'm basically Samir's neighbor. I'm from Bulgaria, and that's not a big country. We have a population of 8 million, about that, because we had a flood of refugees, some went and some stayed, and it's been fluctuating, but around 7 or 8 million. Um, we're between Turkey, Greece, Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, and the Black Sea to the east. Um, our nature is pretty cool, and me and Samir from North Macedonia can understand each other pretty well because of our languages. Um, similarities and closeness, it's like a twin. But, um, yeah, that's basically about my country.
Hi everyone! I think it's the best time to use this topic, what I created, some time. Yeah, because, you know, February 24 the war has been started in my country in Ukraine and I was in the United States in Germany only, only in these countries and now I... I was able to go to other countries alone. So I was in Poland and I was in Spain and really it was amazing. So I can... I could tell a lot of things what I was surprised, shocked in these countries. countries but really two things what I was surprised most of all it was in Spain I'm in Spain right now I lived in Barcelona it was from 16th to 29th March and from 6th April I was from so I left my country 3 March from 3 March to 16 March I was in Poland from 16 March to 29 March I was in Spain in Barcelona from 29 March to 6 April I was in Poland again and from 6 April and now I am in Spain again but in Madrid so the most surprised things two surprised things it was really in Spain because okay Poland it's more developed country than Ukraine but it's still not the best really but in Spain the first thing what I was surprised it's something It's a Spanish national organization of the blind and I was surprised how it works, how really even this organization works not only in Spain but in Latin America, they help Latin America, they help some African countries, but even teachers of this organization only move around the world for teaching blind people and something like that. Yeah, I was shocked about it because first thing, when some people from this organization told me that it's a unique organization, I I thought that okay, it's just it's just your opinion, but next I got more information and I understand that really it's unique and I really shocked, not surprised, but I'm surprised and shocked because I never think that it's possible that like such organization is exist... but the second thing I don't know if it's mercy or no but it's living of all people in Spain, because, for example we've take my country Ukraine, we've take Russia or Eastern European countries, I saw all people in Poland, we talked about the foreign countries, all people in public peace and harmony. in Poland, so they feel themselves like very old, very old, I will lie on my bed all day, I will read in books and stuff like that. I saw some active old people in my country, for example, but it was not the same like in Spain, because in Spain, a lot of old people who I met, really, they not look like old people, really. For example, first person, I will continue.
so first person who met me in Spain I have meeting with this person three times and I thought that this person 30 years old or 40 years old something like that but I get that this person is 74 years old I I was shocked really it's really second one I think that I thought that the same 30 40 years old at 72 years old next person was some woman and I thought that she's 25 30 years old but she's 55 years old so old people in Spain not look like old people really and really I I'm surprised about it because in my country all people not so active like people in Spain really surprised about it so now I think I'm thinking what should I do because I can stay in Spain for one year I can go to Germany because in Germany I have more social supports from government than in Spain I can go to the United Kingdom I can go to Canada because in the United Kingdom and in Canada I already have approved my visas so I can go both these countries but in the United Kingdom it can be for six months in Canada it can be for three years but also I can try to go to the United States anyway I'm so glad that I can share these feelings with someone here and I think that if something well probably like these things I will tell about it here so yeah it's pity that I cannot visit some other countries because for example I dream to visit Latin America and I dream to visit some African countries and actually Asian countries like Philippines Indonesia and things like that so but I need money for that I don't want to spend money in this time so yeah so something like that something like that yeah thank you
Man, I listened to the first post and I didn't even listen to the second one You even have so much time to repeat one single thing several times So, I just want to ask Did you escape the war or are you just having a trip for fun? So, apparently you also have a premium package and you're wealthy enough And you're free enough to come talk here For long durations So, what's going on?
Well, the reason why you have more extra time to record in the voice form is not the premium packages. A premium package cannot help you with the voice form. So, it's just the time limit now in the voice form has been increased to five minutes. So, that's why the message is long. That's why you can hear it's much longer because the voice form now is five minutes. So, yup, and I'm glad now there's a mix form now on the voice form. So, that's pretty good. Let's just say if some people don't feel like want to write, you can speak it out. Same thing goes to speaking. If they don't feel like speaking, they can write it as well. So, yup.
