the return of klango

I was undecided if I wanted to involve myself into this, but come on bro, the entire sitation being what it is is the one thing, but obviously lieing about it is the other.
If felix@sixdots.it is the Klango ghost who sent the E-Mail and leaked it, I appologise for accusing you, but I quote a snippet of the E-Mail I received from that address:
"I have decided to open up registrations. No admin verify word is required to create an account anymore. Tell it to your friends."

Like dude, please let's be realistic, it was obvious this kind of stuff would happen. I have never used Klango, I have no idea what the nostalgia of this program feels like, for me it's just a pretty clunky all in one platform. I completely understand you'd like to revive this thing. But either do it legaly, or do it privately. But doing it and then willingly throwing it up with everyones old data with several legal complications does not appear to be a great fundament for a longterm success of this platform. And I'm genuely sorry to say this because honestly, I don't think you've deserved the hate from some people in this thread, and I understand why one would do this kind of stuff. But you're not helping yourself with it unfortunately. With that I'm out here again.

so, my onicial experience is not grate. you are stuck with using e speak and cant use your own screen reader, I hope this gets added. cause I cant stand e speak. the update took 5 minutes to download. i'm sure this can improve, it just needs time. I will come back to it when it has been more stablised

You can use your screen reader in fact. It's true it didn't work for days and it's still clunky, but in theory you can.

ah, where's the setting. I was looking in settings and didnt see it. but where can you do that.

The fact that upon registration you're stuck with this slow british whatever ass espeak voice probably until you configured your account makes me pull away anyways. Also the registtration just redirects you to web I think, not even inside klango. Idk why to bother anyway, I'm happy with elten and don't care enough to make an account and just seing this archive with an 8 year gap just to get revived by kids. And again, where's the permission of all the users. The ficial klango would've had all rights, simply because they had the data before, but noone permidded you to own that.

I'll have to talk with Simter to see what's going on here.

I highly doubt it'll happen honestly. Lawyers cost money and considering the state of the blind community with employment, I just don't see it.

@Arctic, in principle I completely agree with you in regards to trying something to form your own opinion. Yet in your case it's just funny how you criticise the projects over and over and it just makes it ook like you wouldn't dare to try them, yet you still do, so it kind of seems hypocritical.
