Hello there. I made this thread to see people’s opinions about Netcup. What was your experience with them? Would you recommend them to others? What I like about them is the quality and the uptime, as well as the price, especially considering that most providers have made everything more expensive these days. As for the support, I can’t say because I’ve never interacted with them. My only problem with them is the abuse system. I’ve heard they take down servers immediately if someone reports your IP, and I’m seriously considering changing providers again because I don’t think they’ll change this anytime soon.
had them it's like what, November of last year because I got a server from them for Black Friday and I still have it and safe to say it's good. My server hasn't went down like ever unless it was like my own doing or something and it's pretty fast and I get a lost storage too, but again that could just because the Black Friday deal.
Search about this if you not believing me. I am waiting 1 or 2 weeks more, then switching providers I don't want to think every day they can take down my stuff because of a false report, though the price is good , but I need to do this
netcup is good. But every provider can take down your stuff. your ISP can take down your internet. If you want a server only you manage then go for a homelab
and then you realize your ISP can take down your Internet rendering your home lab useless will your house catches on fire randomly and everything burns away
are backups like not an option? Every provider has a chance of false taking down your server because of a false positive. if you don't have any backups of your data, that's on you.
