The same applies to voicechat in lastshot :)?

-- (Jonathan):
Just saying, Claude did this one perfectly in my game after 2 or 3 little fixes. As Rudolf has said, the sad thing is not people vibe coding, it's how bad they do it.
-- (marchoffmann):
O yeah and not to mention. This, is getting, super, old.
And typical tunmi. The update has been downloaded. Please exit this program and unzip the new file, golden_crayon_win.zip. NOTE: Support for automatic extraction is planned.
It said that months ago. This alone makes me lazy to even bother at all. It's annoying to be required to always unzip shit. Might as well not have an auto updater at all, or put the folder into downloads so I can just copy the content over to my games folder that way. Unpoppular opinion, maybe.

I tried some of these games, but I was asking, as of this current moment. As of nowadays.
-- (Adasadula):
This is a slightly off-topic discussion, but OK.
Hearthstone, MK 10, 11 and 12, some Tekken, killer instinct, stardew valley, Once world of warcraft, I tried to play Fortnite and Minecraft, but these mods are not suitable for me to play with pleasure, lethal company, these are the games that come to mind, but there was much more.

@25 the issue is he shouldn't have to be probed to make these disclosures when he's charging for extra content. If he did make those disclosures unprompted at any point, or if it's something he never made an effort to hide, I'll retract my critique.

@34/37, No, I think people have higher tolerance for Tunmi's antics. If anyone else had allowed that sediment thing to happen they'd never let it go down.
People only like GC because they hate SBYW in many cases. It's fine if you don't like sbyw or whatever, but that doesn't mean you should let GC's flaws go unchecked
All that I survey, I could easily destroy. From time to time, it is important to remind these small creatures of the true extent of my power.

#47

Right, but what makes Tunmi so special?

#48 Edytowano

I forgot about the sediment situation to be honest, also I don't get why the GC servers have to be constantly restarted. I was playing for a bit and I noticed, twice (at least for me) that it was disconnecting and reconnecting us because it said that the server had to be restarted or something like that, but for what?

at that point when I did reconnect I was spammed with on-offs left and right

He was pushing patches for bugs that were somehow left unchecked for 3 years of beta.
I was a beta member at one point, but I left after I realised it was taking too much energy to debate with him about basic features and QoL implementation, and it shows.

#51

maybe this is why we don't make games in python then midway through deciding you wanna make the game in another programming language. Because I can imagine it was more stable in Python. I also heard that he had to use some weird communication layer to make python communicate with nvgt because some stuff is still in python I believe

#52

Yup, the server is still in py, don't ask me how in the world he got the idea of just switching the client to NVGT like 5 months ago.

#53

Ok, 5 months is a nice understatement. It was more than a year ago. But just, not right.
Given how before he said he's not gonna touch bgt anymore, and nvgt won't happen. But looky look what he did, out of nowhere.

#54

Hmm, true, it was quite a while by now, honestly didn't remember very well.

#55 1 polubienie

Even worse so, he would have had more time to test then.

#56

He moved to NVGT like a month or two after NVGT was released

#57

so basically Tunmi moved to a probably early stage of NVGT to continue the development of this thing only to now realize we have this amount of bugs that haven't been looked at? Even I have to say that's sad. Also I wonder how else you can earn coins other than doing those challenge maps, because they are hard for a reason...

Tunmi ain't realising shit. Idk why you always go into some deep thought reflective mode but whatever.
Well, challenge maps are the only thing you'd do

#59

so today he actually released a Mac and a linux client, someone should tell me who are almost platforms how stable/unstable they are, because if he can't even get his issues sorted out on windows, I can't even imagine how the other two platforms are gonna look

#60

In his announcement he did say there's gonna be bugs but he's promptly fixing them.
