Nice things to say about each other

Hi, a spontaneous idea, but I'm sure that despite of the many arguments, misunderstandings and differences, at least a portion of you know each other or have observed some positive traits of other English community members and would like to tlet the people now. If yes, then here's the space to do that.
I'll start of by saying that I consider our curent admin to be a fair guy, who really wants the best for this community and it shows. Plus, his writing style is nice to read. Shoutout to you, SirCharlie!

Right away I will give a compliment to everyone posting in this thread for their skillful and seemless lying.

i don't really know that many people and i am very shy under my weird comity skits. but i write a lot and thought this would be a nice thing to put on this thread. it's short but the meaning is there.

I've met a fewcool people here and enjoy my correspondences with them, either on or off Elten.

Some seem really jaded and they're too young, I'd suppose, to be that way. I would hope life surprises them in ways that will lessen that attitude. I'm idealistic enough to hope the jadedness completely leaves and leaves the person or persons cleansed.

Me and sir charlie have had our moments, mostly off elten. I do find him a very good admin, a 7 out of 10 if I had to skail it.
Karmien has been a friend for a while now, great guy if you get to know him.
Miss butcherVanity, is my girlfriend. I could say a thousand good things about her, but I don't want to make this too long, so I'll just say that I love her very much and wouldn't give her up for the world.

Karmien really is a good friend. we only knew each other a little bit but so far it's been a really positive environment (especially because i'm not judged for my illness or the things that bring my brain some normalcy) i feel that the more people that i am around the more i get over my shyness

I'm quite glad to be able to say that I have met so many great people here on Elten that I would consider it unfair reducing it to just one or a few persons. Shout out to y'all.

Elten was basically the start to all my online activity. Well, there was a little bit before but that was mostly IRL/a private TT. So yeah, regardless of hte state of Elten at this point, I'm certainly grateful for it existing in 2022. I found my best friend through it, who I even meet IRL at this point, which is kinda crazy considering they live in another country. Shoutout Marc! Otherwise, there have certainly been nice vibes, especially around the german community earlier, but it would be kind of pointless to name people here, they're not active in the english part anyway. But I certainly appreciate the time I had with some of yall, even though life moves on. Lingelwap and Rudolf, to name the most significant.

I met allot of good people who I talk to even nowadays in other apps.

Active on elten, probably since 2022. I've been here a year or so before that, but in 2022 the german area had it's peak I guess. Lots of entertaining posts in a private group called spammerhausen, rip at this point. Then chill lounge, where many people from feb to around april gathered to play games, talk a bunch of nonsense and just have a fun time, whether just to waste it or not. Eventually summer came, and with it a game called Last Shot, which kinda revived elten hangouts for some of us germans, and well. Throughout that time, who knew that just by going into a little corner with someone a great friendship would arise?
I would've never expected the real life meeting in 2024 around this time, even a year before that, to be honest. There were so many messy moments and times where I thought well, that's it. But it wasn't, luckily.
Shout out back, DarkMeister. Heheh. Let's go for another 4 years, shall we?
O, and not to forget the insane amount of elten messages back then.
That makes me think of another person, but idk if they will ever read it, because idk how the friendship looks like at this point. But I'm greatful for the years with that person on here as well. There were so many long conversations and messages, partly even conferences a while back. It's been such a big help throughout some lonely times and I honestly dk where I would've been if all of this didn't happen. You know who you are.
That said, no matter what elten is now, simply because of mainly 2 people and some nostalgia I'd honestly be quite sad to ever see it leave.

I was introduced to Elten by an addvertisement on the audiogames forum by Nuno in 2019. When I registered here, I felt like I am lost, since most of the community was either Polish, or not really open to chat or anything. However I met a lot of cool people here to say the least. I had friends from Elten with whom we are still in contact outside of this platform, I even have and had friends who I met in real life, and well, unfortunately there were also moments when we had to stop contacting each other due to personal conflicts. But even if we aren't in contact anymore, I'm still glad we knew each other at some time.
A very big shoutout to Pajper and Papierek, I can't even believe that it's been 4 years since I was in Poland and we met in person.
Another very big shoutout to Daszekmdn and Djsenter, although we had some misunderstandings at some point and we didn't always agree, I consider you both as very good friends.
And yet another shoutout to Mikolajholysz, although I don't know if you are still on Elten but we should really talk more often.
And well, the most painful shoutout is to Jitel. We first met on Elten, were very good friends for almost 6 years, and due to some very well done manipulations we aren't in contact anymore. But as people say, life goes on and those people who can be so easily manipulated, maybe weren't even meant to be a part of your life.

I would like to return the shoutout, you're a talented person, very courageous and determined in your learning of Polish and I wish we got to know each other better and our contact was more consistent, but that's life. There's always something to do and we forget about our own needs sometimes, to think of others can unavoidably be hard. Take care of yourself!

I think the only shout out I can give is to my friend Dylan. We didn't meet here on Elton, but we met on team talk on a server. We had some ups and downs in our friendship, but we survived through them. It was always funny how we would argue and then, five minutes later, we would just say "fuck it" and return to being civilized friends. Lol, he is a very great person to hang out with, funny and also very caring. I also want to give a shout out to pheromite666. He is a good and awesome person to be around as well, and he is also quite caring and listens to my problems, as Dylan does. It was funny. We met here on Elton, and the first time we met each other, we had an argument, but then I don't know how it happened, but we became friends.

I would like to say that I appreciate Fernando for his views on the world, with many of which I agree and say that debating with him or just seeing him debate with others is always a pleasure.
