Wróć do Show and Tell#261 Adasadula
Ok, thanks :)
-- (roma):
Using a midi editor. You just set the grid at 1/3, by pressing 3, or ctrl+ shift+num6 or 4 and pased a note.
-- (Adasadula):
How you made such fast hihats? By slowing down the tempo of the song and playing on a midi, pattern or some sequencer keyboard?
-- (roma):
Loool. It wasn't loop. And yes, I don't mind loops, but loops must be creatively chopped and processed. Sound design, bro!
-- (Sir-Charlie):
Yeah I think the point they were making was that Roma had previously complained about Rudolf supposedly using loops to make his music, when he did the same thing here.
I don't care about using loops, just so long as they're done in an interesting and creative way as is the case here and in the case of Rudolf's stuff. Music is an art, and just like art the beauty is left up to the individual. So of course you can think something is not for you but bashing in the way I've seen in this thread isn't helpful or productive for anyone, and really the argument can be taken to idiotic extremes as shown here.

LOL. It's getting silly and you know that.
#263 roma
Just a demo. What do you think about it?
#264 kezz
is that with reaper? if so how did you do the hardstyle kick?
#265 Adasadula
Using a sample, because you can hear the resampling on the lower notes. If I were you, I would use surge Xt, the most important thing is to create sounds from scratch :P.
Ok, but seriously ;). Lately I've been into creating my own unique sounds using sound synthesis. It is great experience
#266 roma
P.S. AI-vocal is a fiture of the genre
#267 magistral
@266, it reminds me of this thing "matadora", which was in topcharts of our streaming services.
#268 rudolf
lmao sorry but, you are complaining about using like one single sample loop and then have no problem with using AI vocals everywhere?
#269 starchild
@263, @266 just for the sake of fun, could I recommend making a demo of that with the hardstile kicks, excluding every forth bar, pitched up an octave?
#270 roma
AI-vocal is a fiture of the genre And also I said, I didn't mind loops, when it mixed and interestingly sound-designed

This is terribly primitive, you have produced better productions. Oh, and for hardstyle the tempo is rather too slow.

It's not hardstyle. It's brazil funk with hardstyle kicks. You can google "NO BATIDAO" or "JMILTON". Yes, I don't really like this genre to, I prefer style like LXST_SXNTURY or DVRST more. It was just experiment

#275 ferre
this is the first ever cover I actually put online on facebook and Youtube, I was very insecure about my voice so I used a lot of auto tune, sorry for that lol.
#276 ferre
#277 Jonathan
Yeah ok but sorry bro the auto tune destroys the entire thing. I fuyll get to not be secure with their voice or anything but you do really sound better than that. I know it's a big step but yeah, maybe you can try at some point, or in small stes, or idk. I for my part do sing a lot, but just don't feel it belongs in the internet anyhow, I'm good with my voice and stuff, but it's just always been an IRL thing and will stay it. Anyway, still well done, I'm sure the singing sounds all right without the auto destroy.
#278 Jonathan
I need to learn what a dot is. But me, don't feel like correcting all that with remote/bluetooth lag, you get it.
#279 Jonathan
And if you have to use autotune, please manually tune it and don't just slap it on there and call it a day. It highlights more of the mistakes because it corrects somewhere to the ass of the world which isn't how the song is supposed to sound.
#280 ArcticMoon
Ferre I'm sorry but this sounds horrible. And be glad ididn't use something more harsh. It's just horribly autotuned at this point and not enjoyable at all. I have nothing more to say.
