Friendly greetings everybody! Today's thread is about Juno Radio. What Juno Radio is, is you can control, well you can kind of hear a Dolphin Juno speech synthesizer through a server. If you want to get access to this, you go to onj3.andrelois.com slash programs and you look for junoradio.zip and there you go. So first what you need to do is you need to open junoradio.m3u in your media player of choice. Then you open the batch file. And what the batch file does is it opens a telnet application. Then you can type whatnot. Like things into it. So that's basically what you can do with it. Alrighty, that's Juno Radio for you.

It has, well, you can change to voices, or like six voices, I believe, and you can change pitch, rate, volume, inflection, and even the formant frequencies.

The URL you provided returns an HTTP 404 error.

Because you have, yes, HTTP error 404 and I really cannot find it. I was writing Juno radio, Juno TTS radio, Dolphin Juno TTS radio to Google. Everything I wrote, I didn't find. So can you please PM me or, yeah, can you create a text topic about this Juno radio or make this a mixed topic, if you can. Mixed text and voice topic.

this thing is no ever found in Juno radio creators page I think Andre Louie because you posted it in 2018 and yes CDTV is really he's right that it makes an HTTP error so okay is there some alternative methods to get this thing or how does it work

Guys. I found it. Go to 3.onj.me slash programs, and you should find it. That's 3.onj.me slash p-r-o-g-r-a-m-s. By the way, I apologize for using a TTS voice instead of my actual voice. I have a serious fear of the mic when it comes to recording.

Is it really working with you? Because I don't think, I cannot get M3U file. Yes, the bat file is opening and the putty is opening also. Or putty or whatever it is. P-U-T-T-Y, yes, this SSH client is opening. I am writing something, but when I open the M3U it says that audio stream is unavailable or something. Yes, something like this it says.

hello everybody uh thanks cd tv by the way for uh explanation because uh yeah makes much more sense to me because i never really understood why people feel the need of substituting their wonderful voices with tts on voice threads but i like it's because it's kind of different when you know it loses the uh i just say it's a different flow when um tts sneaks in uh just but i understand that not everybody is comfortable with recording and mics and all that i myself hate to hear to listen back to my recordings or my voice and i usually hope i don't have to do that uh because i get really i get always horrified when hearing back my voice uh and i know that doesn't really help but yeah just just um uh just chill man um don't feel afraid to uh to speak here absolutely uh and now that's really off topic so i'm sorry again uh likewise um for um getting back to the topic i didn't have a problem accessing the the original post uh the original link um kind of works for me i don't know i i've checked uh a few minutes ago and i see it's still up so i don't know if possibly it's not um i believe it's working uh that is onj3.andrelui.com programs uh but it's cool that um It's possible to get there with the shorter link as well. And yeah, Arduino Radio is fun to mess around with for a couple of minutes. I don't have that much of dedication to learn the commands and mess around with it for longer, but it was fun to discover this creative idea.

Okay, that's really strange. To me, everything works as it should. The M3U file is playing. I'm not sure then if the other link doesn't lead to some outdated archive. I don't think so, to be honest. I'm using VLC in order to play the file, but I think it should work with any player. And there's silence at the moment, of course, but if I started typing something in, it would most likely work.

I don't know how but it magically works as expected. But what the robotic TTS? I don't understand anything that it talks. What language is it for? Is it for Portuguese or what? I don't understand nothing.

I mean, that's the point of it, you know, I don't think it's really supposed to sound serious, but it's rather just a toy Which you can mess around with

Yeah, I know, but I want to really, really do something with it, so maybe, but it's some sort of very interesting language, I don't know what language is it. Okay, so, do you know how to make my own TTS server, so I can stream it on audio file and stream to M3U like Juno radio?
