Board Games

One of the game types we never see talked about are board games. It's a game type I've been looking into of late, and I'm having the most fun with it.
For context, I'm a big TTRPG player. For those who don't know what that is, that's Tabletop Roleplaying Game. My TTRPG of choice is Dungeons And Dragons, though Call Of Cthulhu has piqued my interest. Weekly, my friends and I get together to play D&D, or have a game night. And while we have our millions of card games, we've started looking at board games now, and they're even more fun! Some favorites of mine are Wrath Of The Lich King, Hero Quest, and Munchkin, which is more of a hybrid card and board game.
What about you guys? Any favorites?

board games are boarding, I mean boring

You've not been playing the right ones, then. Catan, for example, yes. Very boring.

whats the over all point of this like I am glad you like ttrpgs and that but like is this just a spot you wanted to make for otherss to talk about or?

Never been into board games, but also never found someone who is. Interesting how it works, I think. And I do quite like d&d as those who know me will probably know

The only board game I always loved to play was ludo, but sadly I could only play it in this game world app for iOS which isn't updated since like 5 years. It's a shame.

@4, the point is to talk about board games. I would think that would be obvious from the topic title and responses.

I only asked because in your opening thing it was only about your interests seemed more like a blog post then a thred idea ether way I guess through out my life I have messed with somethings to that exstent so not agenst bord games just the problum with them is for bord games you tipicly have to be in person well audeo games it is bots or other people on line that is my stance on them for the most part.

It had more to do with there was no contest to what the idea of the thred was and I don't care just asking.

Hey, We even have playd on elten in rpg games. Our first game was "Zew Cthulhu". system. It looks like muds, in Poland we even have at least 1 good youtube channel when a few people play in these games.
I don't know if I try to play again, because It's time consuming and it's hard to find people who will wwant to play in the same time.
That's pity that now almost noone plays, it's just a different type of games.

I'm really curious to actually try Call Of Cthulhu. It's a cool sounding system but haven't had the time or chance to play it.

at 15I have lissoned to videos on that but never played it
