Cosmic Rage is a multi-user dungeon or MUD text based game based in a futuristic space
themed world.
There is a sound pack, there are a lot of great sounds in that sound pack.
There is in character role play between characters, totally separate worlds in character and out
of character.
Out of character being here and now and in character being how you would act in the game
if you were playing say a different race or even if you were just playing a human character.
So yeah.
You type commands.
To accomplish certain things and it's basically a text based MUD with a lot to do.

I have never played Cosmic Rage before. it is just not my type of game. I have seen people play it before, and just don't like it that much. Usually i would do a voice post, but I am on vacation, and my computer mic is borken. Thanks for reading guys. :)
hello everyone um yeah cosmic rage is a type of muds or multi-user dungeon game
but um it's getting boring nowadays i mean i'm not saying bad things about them but it's true
though i mean if you're already there for too long like two years ago or two years ago
i think it was really easy to rank up but now i don't think it would be easy as hell
since there are a lot of changes some changes are good but um i don't think that most of them are
great as before because some changes actually ruin my gameplay because of the ranking system
um
it's really hard for you to it's really hard for you to rank up and yeah but yeah it's still fun
not that i don't want to play it anymore it's just that the essence of the game for me is
a bit boring and besides i don't have any rp anymore
ok hello, i din't managed to kepe myself away from this topic and don't answer to the last post about cr, sorry for text though, i don't have my mike connected. If you are bored in cosmic rage means you didn't tried everything that the game provides you. You can do a lot of stuf there, roleplay, more than 50 activities to try and exploar. As i've noticed in a last few months, people are mostly stuck in combat, and then they are saying that the game is boring. This game can't be boring because there you can do everything, like, everything, you just need to have enough of fantastic ideas and things how to expand the world of cosmic rage, how to expand the being of cosmic rage and of your character along with adding something new. As one of the help files states, if you have nothing to do, go, and try to roleplay that you found an ationt bone at sahariana, or that you found an old underground building for example, there could be milions and bilions ideas, so try to think it and make them all in the game, and then you can officially say that the game is boring. If someone didn't tried the full abilities of anything, it don't means that this is boring or bad or not correct, you just try to dig more and more. One of the hosts, eli, created a wonderful system called story wiever, there you can do really everything, so you might try it out if you really wish to do so. Good luck in your raging and digging for new ideas while making the world of cosmic rage bigger and bigger, more interesting and interesting.

so about ranking up there are you know role-playing ways to make that easier
you know for everybody but I guess that would involve a lot of politics so if
you want to deal with that that could actually be kind of fun you know if you
started an RP movement you know in the game and in the you know the game
universe to rank you know to make ranking up easier it would have to be
based in some in character reason though I think but I mean it's an it's an
alternative because I think mainly the reason why ranking became a lot more
difficult is mainly in character reasons so I don't know

Oleg, you probably misunderstandd the people who are bored while playing CR. In my opinion it's just way too grindy. Are you at level 1000? Fine, reach 1500 and you can do better activities! How much time does it take to reach levvel 1000? Probably weeks, or even months, because you can reach it mostly with one single activity and after a while it gets super boring. And every activity is literaly the same as the activity you start with at lower levels. Buy somee equipment, go somewhere, type the command once, enter, up arrow, enter, up arrow, enter, your cargo is full, take the stuff somewhere, get money, charge your vehicle, go back, and do the same stuff again and again.

everything I could on cosmic rage I think I just I played cosmic rage last
2020 until 2022 I mean I'm still playing right now and I was about to go back
there I mean the only thing that makes me bored is the ranking system because
it's a it's a bit hard for me it's a bit hard for now to rank up sorry for my
voice I don't know why but yeah I I have mispronounced some words so yeah it's a
bit hard to rank up and it makes me bored because I don't know if I should
be
progressing to my other characters or not anyways it's it's still great I am
just a bit bored to the ranking system of the game because of some changes
actually some players abuses abuses it so yeah I can't blame the host of the
cosmic rage why they change it but yeah

And hi Nicolay, about your post, yes I do love to do RP actually, it's just that my RP on my main character died because of some friends, they already reset their own characters
which happened to be connected to my character, so my RP got broke, but yeah, I still have my 3 characters in CR, and yeah, I am focusing on my mutarians as of the moment
well hey there again uh so actually i want to say if you'll focus on folk focus yeah anyways
if you'll focus only in on the ranking up you'll just get bored for sure why uh because cosmic rage
wasn't meant to be only uh played by ranking up ranking up you can do a lot of activities
ex excluding ranking up try to gather people for redo anyway let's try to role play for this you'll
get you'll get a lot of ranks for sure because like from rank 1220 to 1080 i got only with
role play things and actually it took me not quite long and i like role playing so
this is not a problem for me um this game as i said before wasn't made for ranking up only because
well i yeah runs is cool thing you can buy more cool ships you can buy more cool stuff but still
you can do a lot of other stuff excluding your ranking up of your char so try to
forget about ranking for
some time and then you'll see that maybe you'll like this game again

okay so cosmic rage well i play it but not that often and the only thing i really go on there for
are the babies because i feel like their babies are like top notch are the best babies that i have
seen on a mud so i like the babies um i mean i it's the game is fine i just like some people were
speaking of about the ranking system and how much i have to grind not saying to make it like too
terribly easy to rank but

guys, i'm totaly agreed with oleg. For me, cosmic rage is MUD rooler, the best of the best, for me its most favorit game. I'm improoved my english there very much. I'v got a family there. I'v got very much of fun things and very much of enjoying moments. For me its the best of the best. Maybe i have a lot of gramma errors but befor, my english was realy bad. And i think its much nicer now than befor.
hey! firstly, sorry for reviwing this topic. I'm playing cosmic rage sinze the end of december too. It became already to my favorite mud, it's great. I'm currently rank 206. I am already looking forward to the next starship, the next activity and so on.
