Hello everyone, it's Derek Merced here, and it's been a little while. A, because college is a thing, and B, because high school is a thing, and what do you get when you combine those two things together? Dual enrollment! Yay! Makes your life really, really busy. Such fun times. At any rate, on with the question. What are some of your favorite things to do outside? For me, I'd say, as of right now, biking would be my first favorite. Second favorite, skateboarding. Second, rollerblading. Third, and pogo sticking, if that's a thing. I know it's a thing, like I know a pogo stick is a thing that you, hopefully you do outside. If you do that in the house, well, you're a trooper. But, yeah, I don't know if that's the right way to say it. Pogo sticking, or like pogoing, or I don't know. But yeah, what are some of your guys' favorite things?

my favorite thing to do while I'm outside, just walk alone, with my earphone plugged and music.

The last post is kind of a bit of offensive, and for real what I do outside is sometimes I just sit out there and get some fresh air, other times I go for a walk, I like to walk in the city, then in the countryside because I like listening to the car sound and stuff, and sometimes I chill out in the front porch.

I sometimes go biking outside and sometimes I go to the park and when it comes to winter times I like to go skating and skiing outside.

This, folks, ladies, gentlemen, and everything in between is a prime example of how an innocent Elton thread can sink balls deep into drama in a grand total of three or four posts. Hello, Starchild here. And, um, a couple of my favorite things to do outside, and I know I might seem like a weirdo, but I love to mow the lawn. That's, like, one of my favorite things to do ever. So, uh, that's a chore that I've taken upon myself to do, and, uh, yeah, I just love doing it. It's very satisfying to me, and I, yeah, it's, it's awesome. Um, other than that, I really just like chilling and, you know, listening, reading is another big thing of mine. Uh, either, like, an audiobook or go outside with a nice Braille book. Um, I, I like reading outside and just chilling and enjoying, um. The weather. Maybe with, like, a can of soda or some kind of drink. But, uh, yeah. That's about it for me.

over and out. I stand with the people of Palestine

oh yeah. There's somethin special about the smell of cut grass. How do you do it though? Seems pretty dangerous to do as a blind person.
As to the actual topic, I like cycling. There's something relaxing and calming about it, although these days it's either far too hot for that or far too rainy :D. Other than that, there's so much things out there to do. You know? Be it hanging out with friends or family, going for an evening walk etc. Then there are outdoors place like the beach. Love the beach.
All that I survey, I could easily destroy. From time to time, it is important to remind these small creatures of the true extent of my power.

It's possible if you know your oudside completely. I cutted grass a lot of times when i was a hild, because there were marked out lawn paths.

Well I mean it depends, like in my own yard which I'm pretty familiar with, sometimes there might have glass bottles in there or broken up pieces of such, hoses, pipes pieces of wood or other materials, animals etc.

Trussville roll: Deep-fried, smoked salmon, crab salad, cream cheese, topped with mango sauce, sweet soy-reduction, green onion. MMMMM

I always wonder how the beach would be like in colder countries like America and Canada. You're in British Columbia if I remember correctly, which I suppose is warmer relatively speaking, but the climate is still much colder than my own. I imagine the water to be uncomfortably cold.

I love walking barefoot through the grass. Or just sitting and listening to birds.
I may be blind, but I do not trust blindly, you see? :D

All my life I dreamt to live in big cities, but when I visited places like Vancouver, London, I started to feel like, no, I want to live in not that big cities. So now I live in town, 30,000 population, and I have a park in front of me, in front of my house, I mean, and I like it at night time, because no cars, not that things. But at daytime it's a lot of cars, a lot of everyone outside, around me. I really don't like it, and I don't like that from 3 or 4 o'clock afternoon we have drugs, smells, and that things inside my park, and yeah, something like that, so I would enjoy being outside if I live in some village or something like that.

Oh, I will try to speak American accent, which is more close to Canadian one. Okay. Hi. About Canada, actually, I missed this question about the cold beaches. I lived in Canada, I lived in British Columbia and Manitoba. The thing which I would like to say is Canada, it's not that cold. Really. Because if we're talking about Manitoba, exactly, if we're talking about like Northern Territories, we're talking about Atlantic Territories, say, yeah, but if we're talking about British Columbia, for example, Vancouver, Vancouver, it's surrounded with the mountains, and it's not lower than zero degrees in winter and not higher than 25 degrees in summers, right? So, but if we're talking south of British Columbia, or south of Ontario, it's warm, like in Washington State in the United States, I believe. I never lived in Ontario, but I had, not like friends, but someone who lived there, and they told me that they have such big problems with housing, with, closer to Toronto, I don't know about Ottawa, but yeah. So Canada, it's not that cold country. Exactly. Yeah, but my friends from British Columbia, who live near Vancouver, they're saying that they would like, they would prefer to go to Seattle, to Washington State, to the United States for beaches and that things, all to South Africa. All to South of British Columbia, but not that often. So something like that.

keeping talking about cold beaches now I'm trying to speak British accent because I talk about Britain so I live in Britain I live in in Surrey near London say 17 20 miles from London I believe and two years ago in summer we had warm weather like it was 30 degrees Celsius say it was nice weather for beaches so the sea side it's one hour and a half far away from me I believe yeah last year no this summer which I was talking about it was in 2022 and summer in 2023 and some last year 2024 it was really cold when I've been to Poland in March 2022 I've been to the seaside it wasn't amazing but it's totally okay now when I think about the summer here it was like summer this summer which I was talking about it was in 2022 and summer in 2023 exactly I wouldn't swim but actually to be honest more often I'm thinking that I would like to swim in the sea or the ocean I would prefer to have my house with the pool say to swim in clean water not in dirty water something like that

Honestly, it's just being outside. Seriously. So Kuwait is hot. Really hot. Like I'm talking 50 degrees plus in summer hot. So, nine months out of the year, you're not going outside with any frequency or any real desire to do it anyway. Because who wants to get all sweaty and just like hot and stuff, you know? So, yeah. I'd say like just being outside, bro. It's a blessing you forget until you get it once and then you just are hooked for the next few weeks until you forget about it. Hang out with people. Reading, I guess, even though I don't do that all that often. And just, yeah, that's it. Walks are fun. Okay, hold on. I'm going to pause for a second. Oh, yeah. And eating out and sitting outdoors. Yeah, that's a luxury we barely get to have. It's just so much better than sitting inside 99.5% of the time. Other than the usually back-breaking chairs, though. I mean, seriously, it's like they couldn't even be bothered to get something that resembles comfort so long as it's an outdoor chair. Anyway, that's about it.

So my favorite thing to do outside is just hang out mostly with my nine-year-old brother. Just on a trampoline and yeah, just be on the trampoline most of the time or on the swing set. Because like he enjoys it because he's like nine and stuff. I kind of enjoy it too because it's still spending time with family and stuff. And since it's like 25 degrees Celsius most of the time, when it's not raining at least, I'm fine with being outside. I don't get sunburned easily too, so that's good. Good thing. Because like, I get, you know, I don't get sunburned easily, so I don't really wear, wear, I don't really put on sunscreen or sunblock, however you want to call it. Just, you know, it's all the same. I don't use it. I never have actually. Yeah, one time when I was like... Eight? Nine? Something like that? Um, so yeah. That was my, uh, post. It's been a while since I posted too.
