okay but the UIas do not afect us to much and in consept people keep making 2d games that has been used up to much maybe we will move on from older desines but it hasn't gotten to the point ware people loose intrest in old desines as in the case of game consecpts we have seen 100 or more times.
The road to hell is paved with good intenchens. AKA LGBT. I never said that. MAGA

Broh. Are we like done? To conclude from my side
A UI is a darn UI. The fact that the UI works well is the main thing, not that it looks very 2024 with fancy colors and dark mode and background pictures all over the place and bla. It's the concept on how the games work/how you play, not where a button is placed. Who in the world cares about that if it works and you have fun with the game/program because it's useful and up to date?

How many 2d games have there been? Bloodstorm/SBP, Last Shot, Constant Battle, UP and DM. There's also this which is more or less an SBP reboot which, I may remind you, Mohamed has the rights for. Now, in comparison, how many TK/Redspot rip offs have there been? At least the 2D games have all been unique and interesting in their own ways. Mohamed himself even said that this was meant to be simple since A, it's kind of a proof of concept to see if he could do it, and B, something quick to have a few matches with your friends and move on from.
All that I survey, I could easily destroy. From time to time, it is important to remind these small creatures of the true extent of my power.

I'm comparing it to the way you complain about 2d being, quote unquote, 90s. Its the exact same with app UI's we aren't talking about that, and I don't see you bitching about how this app is 90s!, but you're not reading it right I don't think. It may be my writing but someone please if they can understand this clarify because my writing is shit

Well you don't really get my point either do you. Why should I complain about the ui. Like, why care how it looks? It's a darn UI, not a game.

But the gameplay of a game is akin to the UI of a piece of software?

The heck is akin?
Anyways, If you mean it's in important part of that, how so. How is the UI of some app influencing a game. And if you mean the game UI's we have now, I don't know what you expect. Do you expect to not be able to use menu entries with errows like few accessible mainstream games have that, or what is even your point there.
