lol only 3 of the posts in this thread actually address the OP.
@Techboy, Pixels are generally said to be the best of the best. Minimal bloat, excellent software support, good hardware and affordibly priced. Samsung is usually the second pick but they come with bloat. Not sure how their current UI is now but I'm running Android 12 on my A30 and it works fine. OF course, you can lso get stuff like CSR, Microsoft Launcher and other things to make the experience better. I hhappen to love MS Launcher.

aha?

Yeah but I prefer it to the standard Samsung Launcher. Last I checked Samsung had a bug where you couldn't touch apps on your home screen with TB which was annoying. Also if you have vision MS Launcher gives you a new wallpaper everyday which was nice

I'm a happy owner of an Pixel 4a 5G. I used a Pixel 6a before but switched to this older device since it still has a 3.5mm jack. I also have an OnePlus 7 Pro running crDroid.

Hey! If it's still necessary, I use Xiaomi mi 10 with custom rooted pixel-like Android, as a screenreader I use Jieshuo and recently tried Prudence screenreader.
As a TTS synth I use russian FonTTS and also RHVoice and ESpeak-ng sometimes.

I heard about Prudence from NVAccess's blog, and wonder how it compares to other Android screen readers, but perhaps this is a bit off topic.
