i'm considering buying the sponsors package but i'm not sure about one thing.
I currently have audiofile and courier, which will expire in 2 months. i am wondering, if i buy the sponsors package, if the other two packages will also be extended.

no. i only pay around 50 euros, and my packages that i have now do not expire but are extended. in 2 months i would have to pay 10 euros more but would have exactly the same features for the exact same period.

You don't, well overwrite them, you just put them behind, so for me, I had audiofile untill 2023, bought sponsor and audiofile got moved to 2024, I know this was a trash explonation but maybe you get what I mean.
