I've also never had any sounds for shutdown. Strange...
iOS 16.1 was the only version of iOS to have a shutdown sound that could be heard on iPhone moddels older than the iPhone 14. My iPhone 11 had one. Sadly, it was removed in iOS 16.2 and hasn't returned since.
Why is it such a big deal anyway? We didn't have shutdown sound before and we all knew when our device turned off. Why do we need it now this kind of urgently?

It was just a question but never mind, jump on my throat. I'm just someone who doesn't understand why blind people are so fixed on sound, only sound. I can't even imagine that there are people who didn't turn off the sound for the action when you lock the iPhone's screen and voiceover itself gives a strange sound, indicating that yes, I'm ready my dear blind user, your phone is fully blocked. Why isn't apple's default sound enough? Another of this kind is the sound when you change volume. Why in the hell? Don't you hear that voiceover speaks louder or more quiet? Of course, sounds for links, headings etc. instead of saying the word itself is sometimes excellent because it simply makes life easier and navigation faster. Needless to argue about that fact that hearing some kind of a sound is way quicker then waiting until your screen reader says link, heading level whatever.

-hat is true for the shutdown sound, but if you want a startup sound as soon as you hit the power button you may need other hardware. It would be nice to have a soun when ios starts up, that can be done without any special hardware.T
Off the spinner, to the skinner, it chops off layers, now I'm thinner.
Like in 2019 or something was jailbreaking my old iPhone 6s and that worked with one, forgot how it was called or if jailbreaking became completely out of date but it is in fact possible.
Also. I didn't jump on your throat, you were crittisizing people needing sounds. I don't know why they have a second unlock sound in voiceover but is the same if I ask, why do sighted people enjoy pictures/videos/anything, anything they can see. It's, the same experience for them just in a different perspective. Like heh.
Eh, no. Absolutely not. The fact that they see is completely normal. They enjoy pictures because it's totally normal for their eyes to see, we can say it's a skill that we don't have and they do. But I haven't heard about a single sighted person wanting a large, golden glittering apple logo when turning off the device. Do you already feel the difference?

Lol do you expect them to look at it until the sound disappeared then slowly put the phone away? Also, we enjoy sounds because it's totaly normal for our ears to hear. If we go at that rate we would have an endless discussion. So what's the point. Let people enjoy their sounds or not and don't complain about it, or do you have to? Not trying to be rood but I really have no idea why you have to make a big deal out of everything. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone but this is how I see things recently. To come back to topic, are there any interesting features one or the other of us may enjoy that have been leaked coming out?
