Request help with NVDA.

Hello.
I started learning English and I need an English voice for NVDA to read English texts. What sounds do you recommend? I thought about eloquence and vocalizer as well.

Yea, I think eloquence, maybe not that fast can be a good start! But try out yourself what you like the most and what is comfortable for you.

I use eloquence my sef, but I started with vocaliser Daniel. I have also used Espeak for a year because it is one of the best understandble voices at high speech rates.

Where can I download eloquence for NVDA?

The best place I know is the Blind Help Project. Theirs has an auto update feature in it now.

Alfi, no, simply don't. Your spelling will be awfully incorrect if you have just started learning and you already use an english voice. Keep your hungarian eSpeak or Profivox or whatever, but don't go with eloquence, unless you want to write like americans.

Lol alfi is not hungarian. And I actually learned better having english eloquence, german one makes things worse, in fact.

LOL what are you talking about? I don't know him personally but heard about this guy. He is in fact hungarian like me, ask him if you don't believe. :D

I speak Hungarian and I don't know German.

Try connecting an external keyboard and try the fn escape command.
What kind of computer do you have?
It usually works on lenovos.

press fn plus escape, then the f12 thing will work, permenently, without the fn key
