He's kinda the same honestly, no difference, the only thing I found out in the anime is that sometimes when the main character is working on something, AKA a plan behind the scene, its not uncovered until the time of the execution, or even after that, I can give examples but that would lead to spoilers anime wise

I saw this in the novel too, so there is not a big different
