I downloaded arch arm, but its not an img. I looked it up and the answers all require another arch system. I could set up a vm, but is there just an img file of it. Or does someone have one.

Look at this, this is the one that worked for me. Yes, you need another Linux system, doesn't need to be arch. A vm should work fine, assuming that your card reader can work with the vm. But make sure you are also getting the right arch arm version for your pi, an odroid version won't work, only pi versions. But here is the one that worked for me when I followed it. It is nice and clear, and there is also a copy button the website to copy the command to your clipboard so you can be lazy.
