iOS 16 beta

alex was never my kinda voice. I rather used ava but that one became weird. And i can tell you exactly why. If you're used to use eloquence for yeeeeears, and now it comes to iOS which many wanted? Plus, its very fast, responsive and good for what it is, especially because vocalizer is having, at least on my device, big lag. Another point, not many like natural voices which, in my opinion, is very ok. If you want to hear a natural voice, talk to someone and there you have it

so, and i very much hate espeak, because it is possibly even worse than some think eloquence is but if they use that for years they'd say the same. Get my point?

I didn't mean only Alex, but basicaly everything available is much higher quality than Eloquence. On windows it seems to be a bit better, but on phone it's awfully low quality. I understand it's responsive, but in exchange you get a dectalk like quality, and a voice that's very unclear so it's much harder to understand.

well i heard about people using fred. So that's that.

Of course, I didn't say everyone should use a specific voice :D I was just a bit confused.

my opinion is that eloquence on iPhones is extremely, ahem, LQ. in beta4 they completely destroyed all credibillity and hope, and wen they finally fixed it, i may have felt a little better about it but IDK.

I used to use Fred when coronavirus started, no idea why though.

I use fred all the time, and terik on verry rare occasions

ugh. Actually i wish so much that they'd bring back the old ava, and the other voices they've somewhat destroyed. Its actually sad being more or less forsed to use eloquence because the other crap became unresponcible, laggy, lower quality and just not better at all. I use eloquence a lot so i don't see the problem but its a bit sad actually not being able to use all these voices we know from iOS 10 now until 15.6.1

also, when its like 7 55 pm, ava would say something like 7 minutes and 55 seconds pm. Its ridiculous

Yup, some voices got the premium removed for some od reason. I wish ava would've been the old one, seriously... Its just a downgrade from my point of view

I wish I could downgraid my iPhone 14pro to 15, but, I can't. Nooooooooooooooooo, well, that's to be expected... apple being clasic apple...
