I couldn’t find the english website either. I wanted to introduce the programme but it didn’t work out. And most spend their time on twitter and facebook, which is why, elten is not as popular, as it once would’ve been.

here’s my two cents, first of all. The lack of a mobile client begs to differ. I would like to be able to message people and make calls on this platform but I cannot always do that because I’m not always near my PC. And second of all. This English group needs a lot of moderation. There’s already two groups talking about the killer and other clones. and also, like a previous poster sed, you should hire other administrators not just from Europe or Poland. But from the US and Canada as well. Because there are some American people on this platform and if one decides to spam no one can’t really do anything about it because they’re most likely sleeping

KL, the problem isn't with the administration team, but the fact that we are simply unable to moderate other groups. It has a very simple reason: we aren't the owners of these groups. We, as a team, are able to moderate the english community, nothing else. On the other hand, most of the administrators of this group aren't from Poland. The main administrator is, indeed. I'm from Hungary myself, another member is croatian, shall I continue?

I think he means we need admins from other continents if you people sleep and people do shit or something. But it can wait a night, and spamm didn't really happened here, at all. Clones yes. But the topics were closed

I'm usually an owl if you understand what I mean :D I wake up at like 9:30 am and stay up until pretty late, especially in summer. But there's notonly me, we are a complete team of people so most ofus should have time whever any of the members need help or the forum needs to be moderated. I usually disappear in the middle of July but the forum isn't so active that we'd need hundreds of people to moderate.

For me, the problem is its not obveaous how to use this program. ANd I'm used to my phone where I can send a text, and its received right away. Having this on android and iOS would be great! I'd spend more time on here if that was the case. Also, I found out about Elton from David who said something " like "I just updated Elton" on twitter. my response to him? what is Elton? I guess he gave me the URL to download it.

It's the same here as well. If you send something, it's received by others right at the moment you send it.

Not only English speaking people are affected, but also friends of my native language, Spanish, which happened before Elten had that problem with dead letters and such, now it's fixed. But on the English side we need to convince, or well, I need to convince the people that I know of to administrate it for shure and make some things before it goes out.

I have never looked at the spelling of the word using TTS when I opened it, and nor have I looked at my hooked up braille display either.

Honestly there's a few things that would make elten a lot better. First of all, it's not the fastest thing in the world. It takes an unnecisarily long tmie to load up conferences, the forum, etc. Second, I would personally really like to change my elten username. Not entirely sure why there's not an option to do this somewhere. I've messaged you about twice in a span of a few months. Making alt accounts seems to be discuraged here. Not sure if you, or anyone attthis point will see this post as it's far back in the forum but those are my thoughts.

Do you know why you can't change your username in Elten? Probably it's because users are referred to by their username in Elten's SQL databases, not a unique integer ID. This means that instead of saying "send a message to user ID 128493726," the Elten server says "send a message to bomberman29." If you were to change your username, you would need to change it everywhere - in each post, private message, and blog-related item. However, if users were referred to by their integer IDs everywhere except on the client side (where the username is visible), then you would be able to change your username freely without any issues. This is similar to how Windows user names work - if the user's folder name was a permanent ID that showed a different name by hiding in desktop.ini, you could technically change your username without breaking any paths in the registry. I hope this explanation helps!

Maybe put a limit on users to change their usernames, once every three or six months.
