Greetings, everyone. This is me, Mohamed, and I decided to create this thread because, why not? So, as the title suggests, this is all about languages, so if you have any interesting language facts or samples, like audio samples of rare languages or anything related to languages and linguistics in general, it is pretty much welcome here. Also, people who invent languages or construct languages are welcome to share their inventions here as well, and I'm glad to be creating something here, and I hope to hear from people in this community. And to get this started, I will post a thing, a sample of Anguiltrish, which is a Germanic-based language that I made, and I hope you will like that, and hope to hear from all of you who are interested. Hello, um, there's a little bit of a problem in the recording itself, you just have to wait until it plays, there's a big silenced part, uh, sorry for that, but, uh, the next ones are gonna be me speaking instead of the TTS, uh, but this one I had to use a text-to-speech voice, and it kinda has a big silence, so you're gonna have to wait until it plays, and the sample isn't really complete, sorry about that, I will upload another one with another invented language just now, of me speaking it. Uh, it's gonna be a language that I made, it's called, uh, what was the language's name? Um, Quillithrian, so, since you're interested, I'm gonna upload that now, but the other sample, yeah, as I said, it has a big silence, so you have to wait until it plays, and it's not really complete, so, I don't recommend listening to it.

So as I just said, I'm going to be speaking my own invented language, Quilithrian, and I'm just going to be introducing myself in that language, and I'm just going to be saying why I created it and how I created it, so here we go. Quilithrian.

Hi everyone! I just have seen this topic and I know some interesting facts of languages because I learned 12 foreign languages, but especially about English language. If you look at difference between English accents, especially British and American English, difference between words, so you can get to know a lot of interesting facts. For example, football, pants, okay, ass, rubber, shit, pavement, crepes and chips, shag and fancy, so you can just find some article and read about it.

Hello there, uh, Strawberry, as an answer to your question, um, this language, Para, is a made-up language, it's not a real language, it's a language that he created, and, uh, it does have the African cliques, but it's actually not an African language, it's a constructed one, it's like made up, so it's not from the real world.

Well, well, well, hi everyone. And this is me, Muhammad, again. And today I'm coming up with an announcement. At the moment, I am teaching Latin online. So in case anyone is interested, contact me on Elton privately, and I will send you the details to the place where we do our sessions. The sessions are held on a TeamTalk server, and it's a private server. And they're every Saturday at 6pm, according to my country's time. We will work out the time differences when people are joining. I'm planning to actually spread this everywhere. So for anyone who's interested, let me know, and I'll give you the info.

One more thing to keep in mind, you would have to, if you're willing that is, provide me with your WhatsApp number if you have that, because we have a group chat dedicated to the whole thing, and you would want to be added there, just in case you need something. And since many of you will be joining on the third lesson, you can watch the two other lessons at someone's YouTube channel. I can also provide you with a link when you contact me, or we will see about that. I can just provide everyone with a link, or with a channel's name, or any way that they can get to it. So again, if you're interested, just drop me a message here on Elton, and I will... ...get you in on the whole thing, and I hope that I will see some of the people in the Elton community joining this thing.

hello again to this topic i would like to return back to it because i've got some strange experience of languages but maybe this is not maybe this is not so strange i've tried to play with the my eastern slovak dialect and i wrote and i've written it down to some text it was just fiction but it was and now listen written down by myself using the ukrainian cyrillic alphabet and i tried to translate those tenses from ukrainian to slovak from ukrainian to english but instead of ukrainian i use this eastern slovak dialect written of course in this ukrainian script and as a result everything except some things will translate it greatly i think 95 percent it was greatly translated

okay and now i will return back to this because um i would like to explain you a little bit what is strange my dialect because i'm from eastern slovakia is similar to russian language or if you want if you would like to say ruthenian language but not to ukrainian only a little bit because when i heard ukrainian language it was a little bit difficult to me to understand it but russian language wasn't difficult to me although i don't speak russian language so it is a little bit strange also sometimes russian language or if you would like to say ruthenian is written is is written in same script i think in same alphabet as ukrainian language except some exceptions but really it was uh surprising to me that uh really this thing has happened that ukrainian but not ukraine but that eastern slovak language was translated very good although i used ukrainian language so but it was still written down in cyrillic so maybe it is just understandable maybe there are some similarities but only a little bit

Hey people, actually this thing has been dead for a while, because we have another, mainly a text thread for languages and linguistics and whatever, and this one is supposed to be a pure voice one, but since Elton, I made this thread before Elton made it to update where you can make text posts on voice threads, it's still there, I mean it's okay, but... Anyways, Slavic languages in general are something that interests me, it's like they're very similar, but they're different at the same time, usually sometimes when I create, when I construct some languages, I kind of take Slavic influence, not always, but sometimes. The last language I made with Slavic influence was Kravinovsky, and it's a mixture. It's a mixture of Czech, Greek, and other Slavic languages, sound-wise, and the words are a mix also of Croatian and Greek, and some other languages, not necessarily Slavic, there are some Albanian words, there are some Romanian words, and the majority is Croatian, Greek, and Czech words. Which is kind of weird. So yeah, Slavic languages in general are interesting, especially Polish, Ukrainian, Czech, Slovak, and Slovenian, these five languages, I find them very mysterious and interesting.
