Same for me, except god mode is in the root dir of C as was suggested. I use NVDA only. On my old computer, there was also no single-letter key for list item, but I knew to arrow once to the right from the first item on that desktop.
The reason NVDA just says "List Item" is because visually, the folder doesn't have a name, only an icon. I don't remember it being like that before. Maybe it's a Windows 10 thing or maybe it depends where you put it.
On my Windows 7 PC, the folder is labelled GodMode without the very long string of text. I assume this is because the folder name is so long that Windows just truncates the name. Anyway, First letter nav works for me, and I see no reason why it shouldn't. Either your NVDA or your Windows installation is shot.
How do you reboot your computing machine? You put your feet through the computer screen!
In another brave move I added a file name to that folder and now I can get there with single-letter navigation. Go me! Oh my God, It didn't work! Now it just opens an empty folder, ugh.
