I'm not sure where to put this, but. I know there are some rules in this testing group, that's why I must announce this. I will have to go away in 3 days, and I'm going to be away until the 31st july, meaning that I won't be able to test in that period at all. I'll go to the capital city and I won't have my laptop with me... I'm really sorry for the inconcenience, and I'll come back as soon as I can.

That's all right; as long as we know about this.

That's why I told it and didn't just disappear. But after the said time period it'll be as it was again.

Why would someone who seriously isn't interested in testing anymore remain in the group anyway? That's just stupid! I can see though that there are quite a few users who didn't drop a single post in here in the first place, and yet, they're here. Anyway.
I have a general bug to report, which has got to do with sapi5.5. I wonder now if people running windows 8 also have this problem. When I ran Elten on windows 10, I always found it to be rather unresponsive compared to windows 7. When I dropped a PM to Dawid, he said that the new engine will fix this problem. But then, quite a bit later, I noticed that Elten is perfectly well when using a screen reader. So, could it have to do with sapi5.5? Because, from what I know, Windows 7 uses sapi5.4. Can the code for sapi implementation be improved to fix this, and maybe RGSS isn't the cause after all? That's what I'm wondering. The unresponsiveness can be especially noticed if you scroll quickly. It's not as obvious when you do things slowly or at a moderate speed.
Edit: in case you wonder, with "general" I mean that it is a problem which is not specific to the beta branch. Is it ok then that I posted it here or should this be moved to the bugs forum in the Elten Development group?

actually, I'll just post it there as well, as my previous post contained a reply to nicolett's post.

#27

And, there are some users/testers who say only everything is good here, not very informative or whatever.

I don't see any problem in that. Not all users use every feature and everyone has a different perception. So if someone says that all is well, if I were dawid, I'd take his / her word for that. The problem is saying nothing.

O, another suggestion. When you assign a shortcut for a quick action, you have a list box with possible keys to choose from. Can't this be more customizable by having the user just press the key he wants to use? If a key's already assigned, Elten should warn when the key's pressed.

shortly i discribe it in text.
when you go to mixed thredd, text and voice, that is closed by moderators, i see post type, text post list box. and if i change its value, there is an audio record button. but if you change it to text, there is text field appearing

Something I noticed that must be corrected. In Task Manager, Elten shows up as RGSS Player. This isn't good because people might think it is something harmful.

#34

Also, it depends which Windows version you are using. On my computer, it says "Elten"; I'm using Windows 10.

#35

since i use the youtube program, it woud be niceif you could add a shortcut to that to quick actions
to check out my web site i have use link of

I'm also using Windows 10. Maybe it depends on if it is Home or Pro?

What the hell is going on! I could swear I saw those posts before, but they all show today's date!

A bit annoying for sure. I hope new beta users don't update. They'll be rolling back if they do.
