Hello all.
Is there any dj in this comunity?
If yes, What equipment (hardware and software) do you use for this purpose?
Would be nice to know about it from people who have experience.
I found some interesting plugin:
virtualdjaccessibility.com this enables speech wia sapi5 to virtual dj 8. Controls, file browser area and other main things are suported.

I only have experience in hosting radio shows over the internet. Using RadioBOSS as playout engine, a Yamah MG16XU mixer, and a Roland UA1010 Octa Capture as sound interface.

Radioboss. Oh I'm also using it for my radio station.

IF youjust want to mix a few songs, DJay for iOS might be a good solution. Have no experience with hardwares.

I'm not IOs user :)

Oh. I'm sorry then :)

Hey. I am partially sighted and I use traktor pro 2.6.2 from Native instruments with my MIDI controller (numark mixtrack Pro II). There is one accessible software that you can use on windows - mixxx, which supports DVS or MIDI/HID mapping even. There are premapped shortcuts which are enough for basic mixing (crossfader, EQ, play/stop, pitchbend or BPM changes) Djay for mac/iOS is much better to use.
To be honest I prefer good, old ways of DJing: two CD players and a mixer, or a standalone, all-in-one system from Pioneer or Denon.
I played with a DVS system from rekordbox just once (two turntables and Pioneer DJM 450) with rekordbox and it was an unique experience as well. Rekordbox has premapped shortcuts for basic tasks as well (loading A/B, play/stop, EQ). So, it is possible ;)

Hello. I am currently using virtual dj 2021 with virtualdjaccessibility addon.
I have Hercules Dj Control Instinct midi controller. You can often hear me on the radio. I play mainly house/electro, handsup, and hardstyle. I will gladly answer all questions asked in this thread.
By the way I invite you to http://mixcloud.com/djdenismusic. You can find there my dj sets as well as my radio shows. Unfortunately I haven't uploaded anything for a long time.
Regards.

Some years a go I use djay on mac os. It is a very convenient, and accessible program. But some time ago I switched to vdj. Mainly due to the fact that I don't have to use itunes to have a music library. This is easier to do in vdj. You can browse all your folders and then add selected ones to your search database.
