If we're being picky then yeah, no money, maybe last couple coins, terible weather, cold, rainy, gloomy, being kicked out of any place you try to sleep by the cops or other homelesss, that kind of thing.

I think I'd rather be homeless myself because small children live live in my home whose safety I can't gamble with by taking in strangers.

That's very responsible, love it.

I think I'd rather be homeless myself because I have two small cats and I'm not gonna put their lives in danger by letting some random ass stranger Stay with me.

Poor totaly defenceless beings, dependent on humans to guard them.

honestly for me it would depend on the person because even if I did pick the first option chances are that the person in question would take the house for themselves.

Taking in a stranger is just too dangerous so homeless it is for me.

If you trust your good judgement, technically you could risk taking someone in, but the risk is huge, I agree.
I'd probably decide to stay homeless for a night as well, after giving it some thought.
If it was summer, I could sleep on a park bench, or at the train station, maybe not even sleep, just doze off from time to time or go crazy with caffeine.

You also have to keep in mind that not all homeless people are evil at all. Especially if you're an open person, living either alone or with people who can just slightly defend them self makes up for it. The system or life within it, can be crual. So I do consider the that option too. Imagine if you were this person and noone takes you in. While if someone chooses to do so, and it just so happens to be you, who knows what would come out of it. I would be beyond greatful I suppose, but maybe I'm just naive.

Na, certainly agree. It depends what means taking them in exactly, but I could still lock certain rooms, etc.

#171

Right.
I mean heck, if they have nothing on them, what harm could they do, other than that you might have to clean a bit the next day. Or lock up your bedroom, whatever. Store your things somewhere safe. Idk most of yall go way too defensive.

I have some huge trust issues when it comes to strangers, so I'd rather be homeless for a night. I wouldn't sleep because I know it's dangerous. Staying awake for 24 hours is possible, I've done it before. That doesn't mean I wouldn't want to help a homeless person, I'd just feel really uneasy if I'd have to let them stay at my place. I just moved into my own apartment last week, even my neighbour's TV scares me sometimes

Would you rather be an AI, or a typical house-pet, such as a dog for example?

Well, an AI has no real awareness, so I suppose it'd have to be the pet, maybe a kitty cat since I'm much more of a cat lover.

I'm also more of a cat person, but I think I would have way more fun being a dog.

Cats would argue differently, lol.

I would rather be an AI to be honest. Being a pet isn't fun in my opinion.

Mmm I'd love to be a cat. Sleep, eat, purr and don't give a shit about anything. Sounds good to me, sadly I'm not too good at resting as a human.

I'd want to be an AI because I wouldn't feel anything. I know, that sounds strange, but hear me out. Being a pet doesn't have to be pleasant. You could be stuck with a human who doesn't treat you well or you could get abandoned. On top of that, being a pet means that you'd never be free and you'd get trained to follow a human's commands. In my opinion, training an animal is really similar to training an AI. Of course, we don't know what our pets feel or think. However, considering that animals weren't always so comfortable with humans shows that they just seem to like us because we domesticated them. We wanted them to be something they originally weren't. And even if our pets aren't aware of that, they still have their instinkts. I wouldn't want a life like that. Being an AI would make me follow commands as well, but I wouldn't even know it's wrong. I'd just repeat things somebody trained me with. That's a bit scarry too, but it's way better than being a living creature doing stuff like that.
