Yes, I also didn't get the usual error prompt of Elten, but I just used the object navigation to get to the error text, and nvda+numpad 5 to copy it to the clipboard.

Has anyone else got this problem? I'm writing now using the web page. I can't log into the client. When I open it, it just hangs in there, and I can't close.

I will correct myself here a wee bit in this additional post, as I don't know how to edit posts on the website. What I mean is. Elten hangs in there, and all I can do is close out of it. This also happens with the stable version.

Ah, PC restart, cures lots of woes. I hadn't experienced that Elten client problem so I'm glad it was easily resolved for ya.

I found out something cool about this addon, you can do your normal say all command!

the only thing i've found sheany about this addon is that it always shows me an error message saying that the current version of the addon is not compatible and that I must update it. I answer yes to the prompt, and it doesn't really update; it just reboots NVDA and does nothing else. then the same error message appears each time I open elten.

The Elten team thinks that it is a problem with the NVDA screen reader since the latest beta version of NVDA. So for the moment, disable or remove the NVDA Elten support add on until further notice.

Well that's because of the Elten support add on. Just disable or remove it.

When we can expect a fix for this? If I'm having this problem with 2019.2.1, it's not an NVDA problem with the beta.

Next beta with new addon is to be released in 2-3 weeks, because I'm rewriting a large piece of code.

I'd be curious to know what the NVDA add on actually does as it isn't really explained in the changelog. Other than that though, liking the update. Keep it up.
I sometimes speak words, and sometimes those words make sense. If this post by some miracle happens to fit the latter category, let me know.

You can use your normal "say all" command in text fields. Now, NVDA also moves the system cursor as it goes. Also, the addon adds braille support.
