You can, but there is almost noone on there, so I'd say take a look at www.blindieconnect.tk to find some nice teamtalk servers.
And that, is why you shouldn't do this.

I have a question. Could someone teach me how to create my own team talk server and connect to?
I have the teamtalk console server configuration utility, I can create and edit xml files manually, but I misunderstood something and can't find any documentation regarding to it.
If somebody could help me, pm me. I would be really happy.

I'm also wanting to create a teamtalk server. I'm running windows 10. How should I go about doing that?

#13

Install teamtalk, and when it goes the choose components, choose teamtalk classic with server. Run the install teamtalk nt service, and follow the prompts. Forward the port that you set the server to, and then go to control pannel. Go to windows firewall, go to advanced, and then go to inbound rules. Add rules for the tcp and udp port in there.
Off the spinner, to the skinner, it chops off layers, now I'm thinner.

Honestly, you're better off just getting a VPS and firing up a TT server on there. You're just asking for trouble by hosting from home.
How do you reboot your computing machine? You put your feet through the computer screen!

plus windows server are not very stable

I host off of windows 10 from home and it works just fine.

what is VPS? I don't even know how to set one up.

#18

VPS stands for Virtual Private Surver.
