The purpose of NVDA addon mentioned here is to provide support for Braille Displays, NVDA shortcuts and text sliding while reading.
As for now, the addon should enable NVDA to slide the index in textfields while reading and present interface on the braille displays.
The beep sounds mentioned are presented to indice reconnection of addon with Elten (the lower one) and unhandled error (the higher one).

Elten 2.3.6 Beta 11 has some fix of the addon included.
It repeats the query to install addon, because the addon itself has been updated.

For me, the braille display feature doesn't work. I just tried it.

O wait, now it does. Just restarted Elten and now it works. But I'd like to have the cursor in text fields, and also I want to use the routing keys to jump to a specific character.

Strange, now an error occurred, i.e. Elten played the signal sound, and now, braille doesn't work.

What about just using a newer NVDA controller client dll? From what I know, it supports braille already.

Wow now Elten is very sluggish, some characters don't type, and my fan is going crazy! O now it's better. Don't know if that's Elten or something else.

NVDAControllerClient can only present braille alerts. They cannot be stored and disappear after a while.

So far so good with this latest beta in general.
Switching back to Screen Reader support from SAPI after installation of B11, speed of program is smooth.

Sadly, I have no Braille display to test with.

No, not here. The Elten support add on installs fine in NVDA and then Elten starts. So far so good there. But then, when you close Elten and restart, NVDA is not being put to sleep and when in Elten, you can't use any of the Elten keys; for instance the f10 key.
It seems me that the Elten support add on is trying to install itself each time you launch Elten. Also, those beeps are there again.

For me, using keys work. In fact, everything works, I think that it's just a problem with scrolling, because when connected with a braille display, it plays this signal sound after a while, and then braille doesn't work anymore.
