honestly I don't know what to do with it, I just remember that I have to set vb cable as default

it depends what you want to use it for.
For example: you want to stream youtube on teamtalk for you and your friends. Go to notification shevron, speakers, context menu and find sound settings then advance options and find google chrome or firefox or whatever you use and set the device for vb cable.
Then make separate teamtalk instance for streaming purposes.
And set both devices for vb cable. and mutefirst slider on teamtalk to 0.
