haha I looked at the audiogames forum post an hour ago and they totally documented almost every clone that this games were cloned after like UL/RW/every other carbon copy that included possibly a few sounds ripped from each other... But I think some people also mentioned that clones could also have a feature similar to another game... Really interesting post NGL

well ln was not a clone of ul, I know my own game when I see it, and sure, there might be similar macanics sometimes, but the game was acctualy taken fro a game called life simulator, which was atk clone. so from there on out it was smiths own coding

yeah it was a clone, but we worked on it as a team, and the past developer of ul had handed the game over to me, so in the end it was my game.

If you look hard enough, you'll find the source in every blindy telegram group there is. I highly doubt that the UL developer past the game onto you.

Guys, does it really matter? This ul shit is a clone of dl which is a clone of cloned clones... At the end, all comes down to tk.

if I really gotta give ul's story, I will. the sourse was leeke way after I became main dev of the real ul.those being hosted are nock offs. so, firstly ul was owned by carlo, a guy who goes by star angle, and then after a few months he couldnt do it anymore, he was going to shut it down, but then one of his managers, dillon, decided to purchas the sourse off of him. and then, dillon kept it going for a good year or so, but in summer of 2024 he was having problems and decided to shut it down, but then I stepped in. I talked to dillon myself, and he agreed that I have the right to be the main developer from now on. from then until I decided to take it down last year, he was on the project as a side dev while I was taking care of the game, the players, and its staff. the sourse was leeked a few months after I became a developer. that leek almost led me to shut the game down, but everyone inkurraged me to keep going, so we did. but it still ended badly in the end, because the player base kept going very low, and eventually we saw that ul was at its end of life, so that's why I took it down. but no, those fake clones came after I became dev of the real ul. i'm not saying ul isnt a clone, but I was in the end the owner of real ul. if you look at those crappy clones, you will see the player base never goes abuv 5 players. only the real ul was able to hold 20, and 30 players all the time until it stagnated. those other cloners cant come close to doing that

It's just very funny that you guys purchase these source codes when they are all available in a lot of telegram groups for free :D

I didnt pay a dime for ul. couldnt anyways. dillon just gave it to me for free. also, i'm sorry but you had no idea how it was in my staff team, all you did was join in my telegram group and disagree with everything I said in the group, to know howit was like in my staff you would have to littery be there and be in the team, otherwise you would not have an idea. I woulacctually go and say that I felt my staff was more then just people who do my commands, I looked at them as friends, and offen times the admin chat would not be about game related topics at all. so yeah.
