The transition to the core will be efficient. AJ looks up at the monster. He sees the way the brownish slime is weaving new fibers into Karar's neck. The skin there thin, translucent, and pulsing with a sickly yellow light. You're lying. You don't want a core. You just want more meat. AJ's hand, hidden beneath the surface. AJ's hand, hidden beneath the surface. There is... The last of... With a roar that tears... There is no... With a roar that tears at his raw throat, AJ lunges. He doesn't aim for the chest this time. He drives the tip of the baton directly into the soft, regenerating tissue of Karar's throat. The last of the electricity discharges in a single, violent crackle. Screeching! Karar's head snaps back. The yellow light in his throat explodes into a fountain of black fluid, and Burt's slime. He staggers, his limbs splaying out in a chaotic, spittery mess. Next on My Slasher Sibling... System... The resulting feedback loop is catastrophic. The inventory drones stop in unison, cutching their heads as they let out a collective muffled scream behind their slime-sealed mouths. The connection's broken. Run. To the side service tunnel. Vance grabs AJ by his scorched collar, Vance grabs AJ by his scorched collar, Vance grabs AJ by his scorched collar, hauling him out of the water. Karar is curled on the floor, his throat smoking, his black eyes fixed on AJ with a newfound, terrifying clarity of rage. Garble file! Garble file! Corrupted! The ceiling begins to shed large chunks of slime-slicked concrete. The inventory is no longer watching, they are thrashing, becoming a mindless, violent tide of bodies. Chloe clings to Labran's arm. As they sprint toward a narrow opening in the wall. The sound of Karar's clicking now a deafening, distorted siren. The system is failing, and the drainage sect is collapsing. AJ must decide his next move as they flee. Demand Vance let him go so he can finish Karar while he's staggered. Use the chaos to try and lead Chloe and Labran toward the surface alone. Scoop up a piece of the discarded, shedding skin for Vance to study. But, hoping it holds a weakness, call out to Karar one last time, trying to see if any human pain remains in that screech. Okay. This is gonna be fun. Out of button-button weakness, a button choice three. Scoop up a piece of button-button choice two. A place in clickable button remove obsidian dark wind from the world. Oh! Okay, so this is a continuation of me playing Poison, the story I was playing in the last post. We are not following his tunnel. Lebron, Chloe, this way. Up the maintenance shaft. Alfred, that's a dead end. We have to maintain the tactical perimeter. Your perimeter just tried to turn us into fuel. Vance, to hell with your mission. Chloe's hands are slick with grime, but as a thrashing drone. Once a man in a delivery uniform, lungs toward Lebron's back, she doesn't freeze. She drops, her fingers closing around a heavy, rusted iron pipe discarded among the shoes of the inventory. Lebron, look out! She swings the pipe without... ...a frantic, uncoordinated strength. It catches the drone in the side of the knee with a sickening crack. The creature wheezes, its slime-sealed mouth bubbling as it collapses into the oily water. Chloe? Okay, let's move. They scramble toward the narrow maintenance opening, AJ pointed out, leaving Vance behind in the main tunnel. The agent hesitates for a split second, looking at the screaming car R. ...and then at the fleeing teenagers, before disappearing into the darkness of the service tunnel. The shaft is narrow, barely wide enough for Lebron's shoulders. The walls are slick with the overflow of the shedding slime, smelling of rot, and that haunting, synthetic peach scent. Keep climbing. Don't look down. The sound of the tunnel collapse reaches them. ...a thunderous roar of concrete meeting water. ...then, a new sound. ...a rhythmic, metallic ping-ping-ping. ...it's the sound of something sharp climbing the iron rungs below them. ...fast. He's coming! He's already fixed! AJ, he's faster than us! ...they reach a rusted iron hatch at the top of the shaft. ...AJ throws his weight against it, but it doesn't budge. ...it's been welded shut from the outside. ...out of the way! ...Lebron slams his shaft. ...and his shoulder into the hatch. ...it groans. ...the heavy bolts hold firm below them. ...the clicking sound returns, louder and more distorted, echoing up the shaft like a storm of falling glass. ...it's over. We're in a tin can. ...AJ slumps against the ladder, the realization hitting him with the weight of the concrete above. ...he looks at his hands, shaking, burnt, and smelling of the same chemicals that made Karar. ...no, we can't! ...not like this! ...Chloe grips her rusted pipe, her knuckles white, the light from Lebron's fading flashlight, flickers, casting long, monstrous shadows of the three of them against the ceiling. ...they are trapped in the dark, and the brother they tried to kill is inches away. ...AJ's sacrifice failed. His escape plan has led them into a vertical trap, and his body is failing. He is staring at his own hands, wondering if the blood in his veins is fine. ...he's finally demanding he join the hive. ...try to use the pipe as a lever to help Lebron force the hatch. ...draw back down the shaft to meet Karar alone, giving the others time to keep working the hatch. ...scream for Agent Vance, admitting he can't save them alone. ...use the last of the pipe's sparks to ignite the methane in the shaft for one final blast. ...I... ...reload... ...place in... ...out of edited button choice four, use the last of... ...and place in... ...clickable button remove obsidian dark wind from the world. ...button cancel. ...button remo... ...activate remove button. ...button cancel. ...button remove. ...this will remove button clickable button remove obsidian button skip obsidian chloe. ...obsidian dark wind button cancel. ...button remove. ...activate. ...layer in clickable heading left layer removed. ...clickable. ...obsidian dark wind clickable heading level one world generate heading level one world... ...we should no longer see the obsidian dark wind...thing. ...which, I'm gonna stop this every few choices. ...and then continue. ...button pause boot. ...enable play button. ...elton. ...stop record pause rec... ...so yeah, I'll continue in the next part of this, which the reason I'm pausing is so that the recording doesn't time out on me.

Not here. I won't die in the grease. Below him, the maintenance shaft groans. The explosion has compromised the concrete lining. Bricks begin to tumble into the abyss. And- A charred, three-jointed hand, its skin sloughing off in blackened ribbons, clamps onto AJ's ankle. The grip is inhumanly strong, pulling him back toward the collapsing dark. Let go. You're dead, Karar. We're both dead. AJ kicks back with his free leg, his heel connecting with something soft and pulpy where Karar's face used to be. A spray of black, viscous fluid hits the ladder.
