What do you like in your country?

Recently I had a conversation with my friends.
And a wife of my friend, she is from Latvia, asked us: "Guys, what do you like in your country? Anything that comes to your mind. Really anything, but three statements with short explanations".
It was so interesting to listen to opinions and share our thoughts.
So I offer to do the same here.
I will start, but first, some rules:
1. Tell your country and then exactly three statements.
2. Please, let's listen and not criticize others. Even if some statements are about politics, lets just listen and go forward.
3. Lets do not post off-topic.
And the last: if your country is already taken by someone, do not hesitate and go on! Try to avoid duplicate statements but write your thoughts.

So, I'm from Russia and here are three things I love about my country.

1. Mentality.
I love and respect our mentality because as I think Russian people are kind, have strong empation, do support each other, care even about strangers on a street.

2. Russian Rock.
It is unique enough to be known even worldwide and I really do love it.

3. Russian nature.
Russia is a big country and we have many variants of nature in different regions.
You can see almost everything travelling only within Russian borders: forests, mountains, lakes and seas, different climate in different places, from terrible -50 degrees in northern regions to not less scarrying +45 in southern parts.

My country is Hungary, so let's try.
1. The feeling of being home
My country is a very small one. And we all feel like we can be anywhere inside the country, in any cities or towns, it'll feel like you are at home. We don't have a lot of different things to explore in terms of climate change, but Hungary is all the same, everywhere.

2. Food
We have awesome, great, tasty food. Of course all countries have their own traditions, but I love hungarian kitchen and I could never live without our spicy meals.

3. Our language and rich culture
Hungarian is a very unique language. It's not well known, only a small amount of people speak it, but I firmly believe it's a real treasure.

I am from Montenegro... Three things I like about it are:
1. Our nature, which we are destroying,
2. Our traditions, which most of us are actively forgetting,
3. The fact that we are so small, and have both the sea and the mountains.

Algeria is my country, and here are 3 things which I like about it.
1. Algerian people, in general they are so kind and they don't hesitate to help those in need with everything they've got, even strangers who come from different regions from the country or from outside. Sure there are good and bad people everywhere but I'm talking about the majority.
2. Our political views and stands regarding international causes.
3. Being a large country allows us to have different climates and various types of foods.

I'm from Poland and I love how clean and mostly safe our cities are, how we as a nation come together in case of any tragedy or crisis and fight together, against the common enemy, the importance of traditions both religious like Christmas, as well as the patriotic ones like our Independence day/march on the 11th of November, which is wrongly portrayed in western media as fascist and nazi rally.
The food is unbeatable, and I couldn't live without it either! There are many wonderful cuisines out there, but only Polish food can satisfy a Polish belly in reality :D

hi, i am from czech republic... and about three thinks which i love in my country? first of all are historical sites, for example the špilberk castle, which is located in brno, or technical museum wich is located in brno too... secondly i love our food, because some of our foods are unique. and thirdly our freedom, because we were a part of east bloc, so, we had to fight for it, some people have complaints, but freedom is a gift.

Oh yes, Czech food is great :). I once ate delicious potato dumplings, knedlíky, and it was seriously tasty.

i'm from the US and here's what I like. The public transport is relatively easy to access, especially for people with disabilities. The food, especially when I visited other states it's pretty good. The school that I go to and hanging out with friends. The freedom

I always thought that dumplings are pierogi, not kluski :D

@khalil2009, that's interesting about public transport. As far as I know, generally in a lot of cities it doesn't work so well.

in indonesia, I would have to say number one is the freedom of religion that is allowed here, and number 2 is the food is great here, and lastly is the music here is great in my oppinion

My rights. The politicians are dumb as shit, and they proove it everyday. But I get disabillity money, health ensurance covers a lot of stuff, free public transport and some other stuff. It's quite acceptable I guess.
