what do you think of Astral projection

It fascinates me but I am not sure how you would acomplish that as a blind person.
When you're stuck, just try harder.

It's something I do now and then. Astral projection that is. I believe I have visited some places, but if it's all in my mind, or if those places really exist I don't know. Sometimes the experiences are very vivid and real. At other times, I feel like I'm in 2 different places at once. And I can't always work out what is going on, or where am I. Sometimes it's easy to do, other times not.

May I ask what it means or what you do with it?

How do you enter yourself into such a state? I'm assuming you are meditating or use some kind of techniques to achieve it, right?

It's the belief that your soul can leave your body, and visit places. For me I just close my eyes, and let my mind drift. I try not to fall asleep though. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I'm wondering how similar it is to meditation, or if it is tied into it somehow.

I think it could be similar. I don't know, have never done meditation, so I wouldn't know. Although I think astral projection could be more involved, or at least more intense, maybe.

O god. So it's some sort of ritualistic shaman ish thing? For me this stuff seems satanic, or rather scarry and surely not as truely working as people think.

Well, each to his own I guess.

I don't think it's satanic, but it sounds as if it's a deep form of meditation (wich is cool) but I think it's all in your head tbh. It reminds me of something called holotropic breathwork, which is a form of breathing that gets you in these kinds of states. Never tryed it but it fasinates me.
And that, is why you shouldn't do this.

Lol satanic? I will never understand Christians who say that meditation, yoga and similar things are satanic. They help you broaden your horisons, clear your mind, have more control over your desires and negative thought patterns, what's there not to love?

I don't think you know what ritualistic or shamanish means.
All that I survey, I could easily destroy. From time to time, it is important to remind these small creatures of the true extent of my power.

If you saying satanic, I asoom you mean evil. I don't think it is evil, why is it evil?

Satanic because it isn't holy?

Why would it not be holy?

To correct , the astral body, or the etheric body, etc etc., it is not the soul, it is an internal thing, in the body

#19

For me the soul is in the body. But anyway. Did you create this topic because this is something you practice or do? I'm just curious.
