Without the word "cheap", there is. Buy one.

Don't get it. It's complete unnecisary garbage. The only thing it's half useful for is doing math. That's really it. Get a braille display like the focus40 and connect it to your computer and or phone instead.

@3 it is not garbage at all

And how, would you know this? By watching and reading videos / articles on it? Because I assure you, up close and personal at school, not at a technology center where you get a review of it for 30 minutes, there's a lot of sucky things about it. Sometimes the keyboard cover likes to disconnect, apps go unresponsive, it's still running android 8 which is probably the most prominent problem, and it's literally just an overpriced slow android tablet with a braille display and a fancy braille keyboard and a few apps for it. The only way you'd be able to get that for free is if you got your school or gov to pay for it for you. Have fun.

If you still want one, try and find a used device.

Let me think, where to get a cheap braille display.... in your dreams.
In all seriousness, what's your budget.

tbh I feel like braille notetakers are completely unnecessary. I've got a braillesense and don't use it whatsoever, since it was given to me by the school. Computers can do much more than any notetaker and if you want braille support just get yourself a braile display because those are likely a lot cheaper.

As a person who has used multiple notetakers, BrailleNote Apex, BrailleNote Touchh and the BrailleSense polaris and 6, I can't agree more.
Get a braille display and hook it up to the computer, install braille extender, problem solved.
Also, don't ever use a BrailleSense for exams, just don't.

no! no no no no no no!

Alright man, let me explane why the braille note touch or any braille note taker is a bad financial desision.
1. it is laggy as shit
2. it runs litterally the oldest android version possible on purpose. No, you can not update it.
3. The only thing it is good for is doing math or braille stuff, which you could just do from a braille display.
4. It just fuckin sucks.

If you want a Braille note, try to get a use device. tryde one and it is not bad, I still recommend it to anyone.

I would rather use a braille display that has me type in math in computer braille than a big huge waste of money. Get a Brailliant or something. That, a focus, hell, even a Mantus.

I have a Braille display personally. I don't use it that much but it's pretty cool.

If you're in the United States, you might get your district or whatever to buy you one if you really want. Waste Uncle Sam's money all you want.
