Hey guys, might be that this question is dumb, but I installed the IBMTTS driver; version: 23.6.1; but to use it you have to set this directory with the files, and I've never done this bevore because I used portable versions. So yea, would be cool if someone could explane this.
The easiest way I know of is to go to https://blindhelp.net/software/ibmtts and get it from there. The site appears to be under maintenance at the moment but you'll have an add-on that will update itself when an update is available once the site is up again.
Also wern't you using eloquence before? You need this one to get it working btw. IBMTTS libraries; Installed version: 2021.01; Channel: External; Author: NVDA User; Status: Enabled 8 of 32
Yea, but it is still asking me for those files and its not showing up in the list. Also as I sayd, my portables aren't working, so I need to use blank NVDA and reinstall the Add ons. idk where to get this one, this driver thing and even if I don't think it really solfes the problem. Also is this blindhelp thing now available to download? cause if then I atleast can try it.
Bro, it hasn't need those random numbers but yes, it has lots of cracks and idk if also viruses, so um, yea. idk. Also, I have this: IBMTTS driver -- stable. To be correct, it shows up in my list, but. Synthesizer Error dialog Could not load the ibmeci synthesizer.
Yeah. But everything you need should be able to be found in the same source you got the synth from. Otherwise in this case you'll find good results if you research a little bit.
go to github.com/davidacm. the stuff is there too. Not sure about the driver though. I now the main thing is there. If you already have the driver you should be good to go if you get it from there if it's not working.
