Hello this is Simter and I have a problem with DDNS. So what basically happened was I tried
I think to know where that was simtergames.ddns.net that is where my VPS is located and I just tried to connect and it didn't work.
I was wondering and then I checked my email and it said that my subdomain has expired.
Then I clicked on that link. It asked me for some kind of audio challenge.
I did and then it said that I have it back but it still isn't working.
It always says that it can't find the server.
And...
But the server still works so eventually the IP address can still connect.
It's not the server that broke the domain.
Can anybody tell me what happened?
And if not can anybody tell me how I can set up freedom domains with the server?

why are you actually using a DDNS service? Doesn't your server provider
give you a generic hostname such as h1234.serverprovider.net or
something like HostEurope and Strato and other server providers do. You could
use this hostname to access your server. I personally use NSupdate.info.
It's an open source service and it's free. I'm using it for connections to my
home router. For my servers I have real domains, real top-level domains, but
it's free because I'm using it for connections to my home router. For my servers I have real domains, real top-level domains, but it's free because I'm using
you really need a ddns service that doesn't suck i recommend nsupdate.info and yeah
way don't let your domains expire i think yeah it's working very great ip version 4 and 6 are
supported there are even some manuals to adjust configuration of various routers and i think
you can also connect your server ip to it and you even can have multiple domains per account
yeah try it out

Well, Cintor you can basically use DuckDNS.org. It's like if you come on the website for the first time, then it seems to be very hard, but it isn't.
It's just you need to click on a button that NVDA reads as submit button. Log in with Google or something.
If you press on there, then you can log in with your Google account, create a domain, and that's it.
And the website for that is DuckDNS.org, D-U-C-K-D-N-S dot O-R-G.
Success!
And that, is why you shouldn't do this.
