hello! Recently I opened the be my eyes app and saw that they made gpt-4 into be my eyes. They say that it must recognize pictures and provide many aditional info as you ask questions to it, like a real volunteere.
It's really amazing. I use it just about every day. I now even take pictures and put them through Be My AI. It's like saving memories of a certain time and bringing them back to mind.
Yes it is! Blind android users did a video on it not that long ago. You maybe haven't gotten it yet, so just wait a minute. Not all the features are included yet, but it's there on android now.
It helped me when sorting through my collection of CDs, because I have both musical albums and audiobooks, so I wanted to tell which is which. I love it!
It seems to work quite good. I provided it a few images, and it seems to describe them pritty accurately -- (bomberman29): guys who tested it, please add some comments.
still: 1: on my phone it is not awayable. 2: I got no email that it is now awayable for me. and I was sigening in to the beta, hmm. I think 2 months agow. so if the android beta should start I should be aktually instantly or at least really soon in there. but I am not so far.
Yup, that's right, also you can ask it more specific questions like if I want to go out for a business meeting, what do I need to improve in my look, dresscode, etc based on the given photo? It's great!
-- (bomberman29): Some times ago faces were blured out, now they are working as expected
Yeah, and I can get descriptions of my cat! Well, former cat. But he'll always be my kitten. Anyway, I've also tried to play games with it, like Dissidia DuoDecim Final Fantasy, where in the story mode you have to walk around a huge open area, but that's not quite at the point where we can do that productively yet. On the other hand, if you're playing a game and OCR isn't giving you the right control buttons to press, you can use this and it'll tell you.
For android users it is in private beta still. I have requested access but still waiting. On iOS i got an access and use it. works good!
