I used your script as basic, so thats really weird.

#165

so this is the one I get:

I just checked in my history from yesterdays test and it was called sarah then. I also found some generations from elly from months ago, if you tell me what's the way to get the voice ID...
-- (Musicant):
The script refers to the voice by name. So if there is another voice with the same name it could use that one instead. But i tried it before posting and it seemed to me that it was the voice you need. There is another way to refer to the particular voice by its ID. But i don't have any recordings with Elli in my history to try to retrieve the ID. Besides i don't see that possibility on the website though it seemed to me that i saw it there before.

I found a mistake! For some reason i posted the wrong script. Probably it was because i forgot to copy to the clipboard the right thing and pasted previous one instead!
There's the fixed code:

from elevenlabs import generate, play, save, set_api_key
# edit the values in the lines below according to your preferences. Keep the quotes at their places. api key is in your profile.
voice='Elli'
api_key='your_api_key'
text='This is a text to generate.'
save_path='d:/elevenlabs_test.mp3'
#end of preferences

# setting api key and generate audio
set_api_key(api_key)
speech = generate(text, voice=voice)
#Playing generated audio
play(speech)
#saving audio to the destination set in save_path variable
save (speech, save_path)

Thanks a lot! We'll check that out soon

This is definitely not the best quality I could get. That's what happens when you don't have a good GPU. But, I'm certain this is definitely a good example of what this particular I can do. No tunnel and worms.

Also amazing how non-corporate these sound. Eleven worms can be fed corporat-

So, that is how I see it.

Hello there. Now I want to give my opinion and experiences to this thread as well. As this thread is all about Eleven Labs, I also let speak that text with it. But let's start. What I dislike about Eleven Labs is that it really not processes the text properly. So let's make an example here. Yo, you whisper in John's direction. What's up to you? So you see, it makes a kind of another voice when we put something between quotes. Also when we do dots or exclamation marks and such. But it doesn't note the text standing in front or after the quotes, which can make kind of weird things in certain situations. In all other things besides the less characters per month I like it, however. It's a great AI. Greetings, Rudolph.

And well, it read this 7 and 27 characters in 49 seconds. That is actually pretty cool. I agree that there could be something regarding audiobooks, but that could only come in part when we could assign a different voice for things in the quotes. Well, as example, a higher pitch, or in general, the voice changed, like in audiobooks, if you know what I mean. Regarding the characters per month, I currently have a bit more than 3,000 characters. We have only a few days of the month left, so like 10 or 11, so that'll be enough. But still, anyways, enjoy your day, and bye. Edit after looking through the post, I now have 2,800 characters and a bit more.
