I actually think the russian one, but I am really not sure, thats crazy.

#82

But how to do this dialect thing, if someone could answer my question from earlier

Unfortunately, it defines language and dialect by itself. Language is defined by given text while dialect defines by different parameters of the speaker. One of them is obvious and this is the original dialect of a source speaker. Others are unknown. Probably these are the specific intonations and timbral characterictics of the source voice which are correspond with british part of learning datasets. For example some times i got british dialect when cloned voices were neither british nor english at all. It is also curious that the result with the same voices is reproducible, so you can re-clone it several times and get the same dialect.
What is the case with the examples i gave i won't tell right now. Want to wait a bit more. Probably, some more of the native speakers of these three languages will come and make their guesses but, of course, everybody is welcomed.

Well, since nobody else came to our party i will answer my question. The real girl was british. In my opinion german sample is also outstanding but i am not a german. As for russian sample, well, it is really good as well but i still can hear a very very slight britishness in it. This type of dialect can be heard from people who were born in russian speaking families living in the UK and mastered both languages perfectly. Would i guess if i don't know the answer. Well, Yes but it would be only a suggestion and i wouldn't be 100 percent sure anyway.
It is also should be said that there is one mispronounced word in the russian sample but it is a very common case and any russian tts has some problems of this kind, so it cannot be a clue for right answers.

Yeah, thought so. That the original was british. It was fitting the best. The russian thing wasn't that good really, coming from someone who just knows the way of talking but doesn't understand a single word. So I might be wrong but

Looking through my autumn experiments i found one more interesting example. The disposition is the same: one girl, one text excerbt, three languages, try to guess which language is the native one for the girl. For me this sounds far more obvious than the previous one. Let's test it out.

The villagers of Little Hangleton still called it the riddle house, even though it had been many years since the riddle family had lived there. It stood on a hill overlooking the village, some of its windows boarded, tiles missing from its roof, and ivy spreading unchecked over its face. Once a fine-looking manor and easily the largest and grandest building for miles around, the riddle house was now damp, derelict, and unoccupied.

uh, idk, maybe german this time? I'm really not good in that, russian is a bit to much, pitch and stuff.

#91

although maybe its really the 3rd cause the others have some same, well how to say it, indicates the russian doesn't has, idk...

#92

Yeah, it could well be the 3rd.

I promised that this one will be much easier. Yeah, this girl is russian. However, in terms of intonations and pauses her english and german sound much better.

One day in class, a kid named Johnny comes in the classroom with a black eye. The teacher asks, oh my God, Johnny, where did you get that black eye? Well, miss, Johnny said, I have a very small house with only one bed. Every night my dad asks me, Johnny, are you sleeping? When I say no, dad, he would slap me across my face. Well, the teacher said, the next time he asks you if you're sleeping, say nothing and keep as quiet as possible. The next day, Johnny comes to school with two black E's. What happened now? The teacher asked. Well, Johnny answered, I did as you said, and laid dead still. Then my mom and dad started moving. My mom suddenly starts kicking her legs really hard, and she was making this scream moaning sound. My dad then asked, are you combing? Yes, I am, my mom answered. How about you? Yes, I am. Are you combing too? Yes, I am, my dad answers. Now they are not used to going anywhere without me, so I said, wait for me, I'm combing too.

Who said I want to be funny with my posts? Also since when do I have an eleven labs voice. Please refer to the topic my friend, that was not help ful as well. Would you also like to share your opinion, so tell me, is that anyhow better than I said?
Just because you see a post from me somewhere your ego doesn't has to kick in and you need to think, uh yes, I will write anything against him even though it may be as pointless as his own posts.

for once, agree.
