Hello, Elton community. This is KittyKat, and I'm just testing this new headset that my dad gave me.
Well, it's not new, but it's a headset. I mean, it has one earpiece, and there's a microphone in it.
But because Dell's audio system is so weird, it sounds really weird in my ear.
But I was thinking about getting a headset, a gaming headset with KittyKat ears on it, and a microphone.
Because that sounds cute, right? I like cats.
Alright, tell me what you think of the quality. It's supposed to be noise-canceling, which it is.
But it's not as good as my Yeti stereo mic, but I just wanted to see what you guys thought of it.
I have a feeling I'm going to get some post, like, oh, the quality's not that good.
I know.
Anyway, goodbye.
Yeah, definitely not anything impressive.
So, you know, speaking of gaming headsets, I mean, these, like, the ones that I'm gonna recommend you don't have kitty cat ears, but, you know, if you can deal with that, then they're pretty good.
Uh, I use the Razer Black Shark V2 Pro, um, you know, also, like, SteelSeries Arctis, whatever ones you get are good, like, 7, 7P+, 9, 5, like, literally whatever ones you're gonna get, they're gonna be good.
Um, also HyperX Clouds, Cloud 2, Cloud 2 Wireless if you want a wireless one.
Yeah, by the way, these ones that I have, like, right here are wireless, um, but yeah, they don't have kitty cat ears, which is...
...kinda unfortunate, I guess.
There is the Razer Kraken Kitty Edition. Looking really fast, I couldn't find a microphone test for it, but the specs don't look terrible, I have to say.
Anyway, that's one brand of headphones with cat ears on it.
i'm currently using my panasonic headset just wanted to let you know and it sounds pretty good
quality thinking on getting a logitech wireless e-stereo headsets because it's much better
sounding i heard logitech is pretty good sounding headsets it has better quality mics so yeah
actually pretty good um they don't have the best price to value ratio but you should be fine like
they you know they are on the expensive side they are expensive but for what you get it's pretty
good it's not the best for some less more or less known brands you would perhaps get more
for the same price but it's honestly it's worth getting a razor either razor steel series or
hyper x these are my three favorite recommendations get something from there um yeah but if you want
kitty cat ears then i'm not very sure because i'm not a specialist so to speak
Update everyone, I have ordered my new kitty cat ears headset with a microphone. it is going to be here on monday, so I will do a voice clip when it has arived. I am pretty excited... :)
Okay, so I believe I actually might be posting to a dead thread this time, but as a main microphone, I'm currently using a Blue Yeti, which was actually very, very noise-reduced and filtered in the introductions thing, because I did not want them all to hear a very loud buzzing in my left channel that I cannot get rid of for the life of me.
But, yeah, I use a Blue Yeti as a main audio thingy. I also have a Kaifine K669 next to me right here, which is actually a fun microphone to mess around with, but, yeah, it's a $30 microphone, so, I mean, it's not the best thing ever.
And I have another $30 Vivitar thing in my desk drawer, which I would not like to get out currently.
But, yeah, as my main microphone.
I do use a Blue Yeti microphone, so.

presuming that your internal microphone is much better than your uh headset that you used on the
first pose here but yeah it's fun though i mean not really fun but um the quality i don't think
it's great but since you have ordered your new headset well can't wait to hear the quality of it
and i'm looking forward so yeah bye
as well but i'm gonna be honest and i'm gonna say this i'm not happy okay it was good in the
beginning it was funny yeah stereo and all that stuff yeah okay whatever but you know what i want
quality over quantity and honestly i can't get rid of background noise on this fucking thing
i have no idea why i have a friend that literally managed to have this perfect volume i don't know
how he did it where literally you can't hear anything in his background but honestly that's
not a case with me and if anyone has any tips for that please let me know because this is getting
freaking stupid and i actually was planning to even buy a new one maybe even an audio interface
just for that matter
Hey, I'm actually indirectly replying to Urth2006's post on the matter of the Blue Yeti.
Honestly, I can have it, like I can get it set up in a way that it actually kind of sounds good, sort of.
I can get it to sound kind of like this.
The only issue I have when having it set up like this is that you have to speak extremely close to the microphone, and it's not the best thing ever.
But there are many different factors, actually, in making your audio sound good.
Like, one of them obviously is the microphone, but another one is...
You really need, like, a good sound card and freaking good setup and, like, soundproofing and not having a loud PC in your freaking left channel like I do.
So, yeah, that.
