So, yeah. And besides, I'm not paying for that crap, because I don't, I don't plan on doing any song covers in the future, but yeah.

Okay, I use Audacity on my laptop to make covers.
Some day I want to learn how to use Reaper to make covers, to record covers.
Anyway, I like more Audacity than Reaper because it's more easy for me.
take care, be good, don't be out there looking for trouble xd
okay um so generally for me i do vocal covers of songs but i do not post them on youtube
um however um what you generally want to have is a decent sounding mic which i believe you're
using a yeti right now and so the yeti has four polar patterns it's got bi-directional omnidirectional
cardioid and stereo so what you want to do is you want to put the yeti in cardioid and make sure the
gain is fine so generally you want to have a like not a lot of clipping um the yeti is pretty
subsistent
to um clipping so i would recommend turning it down the gain down a lot and be at a decent
uh distance away from it so that your plosives are not exploited too badly
and plosives are p's s's and b's and v's and f's so
and then what you want to do you want to record your thing so whatever you're doing and you know
you could use virtual recorder gold wave reaper i use combination between gold wave and reaper
and then you can do your editing with whatever editor you choose so yeah hope that kind of
explained a little bit
“The important thing is to not stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.” (Albert Einstein)
Well, I have a problem, because when I would like to record the cover in Audacity, I can't, because, of course, the track is, the instrument track is going on, it's working, but vocal note, what can I do now?
um well I don't know really like are you trying to sing along with the track or
you just want to press another track I mean to paste another track if you want
to sing along with the track you just press shift R that's how you record
another another track along in the same time with an Anna like with the first
track
For me, I have used Veloco also. Yeah, someone mentioned that before. It kind of has a lot of effects too. You can use. That's what I use personally. It's kind of cool actually.
For anyone who needs to know what it is, it's like, and where you can get it, you can choose. I got it from the App Store because I cannot trust blind help in any way anymore since November of 2022 because my old computer had a virus because of that.
So I don't trust that anymore. So you just get it from there.
From the App Store actually.
