I think that you cannot learn any language by listening to songs, at least when you are an absolute beginner. When you are intermediate, you can start listening to songs and the news to emprove that language, though news will be, in my opinion, more useful than songs.

I must agree with It now, because with English song situation is same. So, first thing, if I know one language very well is to read some books, who reads previously in one language (Your native language) and after that I'll move on.
But yes, as an absolute beginner is good choice to know some basic phrases, grammar and vocabulary.
Also, I am interrested to Polish language too, because It is similar to Slovak.

Hey all!
Recently I told that I was learning German,
but now i stopped due to a language difficulty for me.
But I started to learn Spanish and I really like that language,
Feel free to add me and text me and I will be so glad to practice with you!
I am also really interested in Polish, but I cannot find a good tts for it, i use acapela Anya. I don't know if it is any good. But i found that acapela voices are really fine for me as a language learner, I use Rosa or Ines for spanish

Okay, Turkish is my mother tongue. Been learning English for over a decade, can speak American English like an American I guess, and may also try British and Australian English when needed, albeit not so confidently. So I know some basic German sufficient for me to understand many things but never enough o form real German sentences. I havealso been learning Arabic for 2 years, an can speak it at quite a high level. I also know some basic Russian, but what I mean by "basic" here is but he alphabet and a few words. I can also understand different dialects of Turkish spoken in different countries (like Azerbaijani, Turkmen, and Uzbek). Thanks to my German knowledge, I can also understand some basic Dutch expressions and even a little bit of Swedish and Danish and Norwegan.

Turkish is also my native language. I did not learn English from anyone, I was completely alone. In addition, I can understand Uzbek and AzerBaijani language, although not much.

I would love to learn German. I don't know why German so badly. The only thing that triggered it was when I was told that I'm part German. But that's not the reason of why I want to learn it, I just want to learn German for some reason.

Hello there.I am from germany and I am just learning spanish and russian at school. I also learned french until last year. My biggest dream in older times has been to know every language in the world but I know now that this is impossible. My problem is that I could try to learn languages with programs or websites like google translator but I don't trust them. Maybe I should go to some lessons for the languages that are most interesting for me.

OK.
My big experience with using such services, as technical translation:
I had one blind friend, who try to learn maybe, every language. In 2010 (I don't know, if I write It correctly please edit me if You can), He tried to write or speak Slovak language by using Google translate. It was funny for me. Slovak language is My mother tongue.
Also, I have encountered another things. Here I write with some people from spanish speaking country and I used one time bad word. It was in private message and this girl write after editing of My Spanish, "sorry for editing You". I have answered to this girl, that It isn't problem and It is good to edit Me.
My big experience of learning languages is to practice It. Ofcourse, take some lessons is good, but more important is to use this language in conversation. Also, You must know some words too, but I think, that conversation, or reading some articles in this language is good thing to start really learn a new language.
Or, You can replace reading articles by reading a books in this language. In this point is good to learn a books, which You know in Your language and then in foreign language.
There were some tapes by Walt disney with both storry in My language and storry in English, when I was child. I think, that there were also books with texts in English. I don't know, if You remember It, or not.
